"So let me get this straight." The most beautiful girl I'd ever laid eyes on sat across from me, those enchanting brown eyes of hers studying me silently.

"You and Ashton are two separate people. He's apart of you and when the two come out at the same time weird and dangerous shit happens so you're supposed to take turns with the body. But you're prince -still not over that by the way, you could have mentioned that when we met- so you need to be present pretty much all of the time but in doing so, you rarely let Ash 'have a turn' with the body."

I felt him shift in the back of my mind at the continuous mention of his name.

He wouldn't shut up about it earlier and God was it going to take a while for me to get use to him having one.

Besides that, I was listening to her speak, I really was, but the way her lips moved while she spoke..the way her tongue licked her bottom lip whenever she needed to gather her thoughts or the tilt of her head whenever she said something that was hard for her to believe.

My heat was making me undeniably and unbelievably horny.

She didn't notice at all though. I did a good job at hiding it even with my leg frantically bouncing under the table as she spoke.

"So the only time Ashton is let out is when the body goes into heat -you still never explained what the hell a 'heat' is- OR the the body feels intense emotions such as arousal or anger." She repeated pretty much everything that I'd sat her down and told her almost effortlessly.

Under the large table, my leg continued to bounce for a couple reasons.

One, She hadn't eaten in sixteen hours & forty three minutes.

There was a plate of chicken Alfredo right in front of her, yet she hadn't touched it.

For a brief second, I though that maybe she didn't like chicken Alfredo.

The thought dissipated as soon as it appeared. That couldn't have been the case.

I did my research on her, it's her third favorite food.

And besides, everyone likes pasta.

Two, she chose the farthest seat from me.

She was sitting on the opposite end of the table, twenty four feet away.

I couldn't help but think that maybe I scared her earlier, when I pushed myself too far and lost control to the beast that lurked inside.

She picked her fork up, breaking eye contact with me and twirling the pasta around the metal.

She looked as elegant as ever, perched on the chair that she wouldn't let me pull out for her.

She didn't want me near her.

The calmness that clung to her figure was a facade.

One that I was seeing right through.

She's afraid of what I am.

"Am I missing anything?" She drawled out with a tone of disbelief, putting her fork up to her plush lips and tasting the Alfredo.

I really hoped she liked it, after 'Ashton' pounced on her, all I could do when I came to was apologize profusely and order chef Madeline to make it three times over until it was perfect.

That aside, she was actually missing a few vital pieces of information, but part of me wasn't sure if telling her at that moment was the smart thing to do.
