Chapter Twenty-Two:
Danger in the Mission

Sapphire

"A-Archer?" Tinakasan ako ng lakas sa buong katawan ko ng makita kong papalapit sakin si Archer.

"It all makes sense now. Kasi bakit mo naman ako iiwan para sa trabaho mo? I was the perfect boyfriend Sapphire, I never got in the way with your job." He started. His voice was condescending.

"Archer, did you do that?" I pointed over to the broken windows of my car. I was shaking, I was starting to get scared of him.

"So what if I did that, Sapphire?" He smirked, and he looked so vile. But vile and livid doesn't make a good combination though.

"Archer why are you doing this?" Iritadong tanong ko.

"Why shouldn't I be doing this Sapphire? Tell me!" He raised his voice at me and I took a step back. I need help, I need to get out of here.

"Archer, we're done!" Sigaw ko sa kaniya.

"We're only done because you chose someone else. Where did I go wrong Sapphire? Saan ako nag-kulang? I did all my best! Pero sa kaniya ka parin bumagsak!" Nagwa-walang sigaw nito.

I was confused for a second, what did he mean? "Archer ano bang sina-sabi mo?"

"Oh yeah you have amnesia because of your trauma, I almost forgot." He started laughing like he'd gone insane. I had what? "You don't remember that part of your life, do you?" Naka-ngisi na tanong nito.

"What part of my life?"

"Should I say the triggering word?" Hamon nito habang lumalakad lalo papalapit sa akin.

"N-No, please don't." Oh no.

"Nakakahiya Sapphire, nakakahiya yung mga ginawa ko para mapa-saakin ka lang. Tapos hanggang ngayon ba naman?! Hanggang ngayon duon ka parin sa Rogue na yon mahuhulog?" Hindi maka-paniwalang sabi nito. Paano niya nakilala si Rogue?

"How do you know Rogue?" Nangi-nginig na tanong ko.

"Paano ko hindi makikilala si Rogue? He was your boyfriend! Your highschool-fucking-sweetheart." He gritted his teeth. What did he just say? Highschool sweetheart? Boyfriend?

"Archer I don't understand, please just leave." I tried pushing him away, my tears were threatening to fall.

"Ganun mo nalang ba ako ita-tapon paalis sa buhay mo, Sapphire? Bakit mahal mo na naman siya? Nakaka-baliw Sapphire. Nakaka-baliw na kahit nakalimutan mo na siya, siya parin ang mahal mo at hindi ako!" He was a ticking time bomb, he was absolutely terrifying to me. "I tried killing that asshole but he still won you over without even fucking trying!" He screamed at the top of his lungs and I started crying in fear.

"Arch, can you just go?" I pleaded with tears blurring my eyes.

"Bakit, Sapphire? Di ba ko enough? Edi sorry kung muntikan na kitang mapatay, hindi ko naman sinasadya eh." What the heck was he saying?

"Archer, what? Ano bang sinasabi mo?" He was messing with my mind and I was getting more and more confused.

"That chemistry lab, in highschool? It blew off because of me. I was a Science fucking genius, remember?" Mapait siyang tumawa at hinilamos ang mga palad sa mukha niya. I was stunned. What chemistry lab? What did he mean when he said he almost killed me?
