Wicked Heroine

Prologue

Freya Ramirez is one of the highest-paid actresses, famous for portraying antagonist roles. On the night of the National Awards for Film and Television, she was expected to win "Best Actress". However, the award was given to a newcomer actress.

In a rage, she left the Coliseum and headed to the nearest washroom. Freya cannot believe the absurdity of what happened on the show. She was certain that she would get the award. All of her hard work went in vain.

After calming down, she quickly heads back to the coliseum so that she can assure her fans and the people present there that she's not upset or affected at all, though she is furious inside.

When she opened the door, everything was different. Instead of the award show, she was greeted with stares and whispers by people she hadn't met at all.

They were wearing outdated but elegant gowns, quite different from what she is wearing right now. "Did I enter the wrong room?", she thought.

She was about to leave the room when the herald saw her and announced her arrival. "Announcing the arrival of the first daughter of the Woodard Countdom, Lady Maeve Woodard".

Maeve Woodard is a name she recognizes, and she soon realizes it is the name of the protagonist in her upcoming movie.

Baffled about what was happening around her, she was hit by the reality that she had been transported into another world and became the timid and helpless heroine Maeve Woodard.

However, the hit was painful. She touches her right cheek where the raging old woman slapped her. "What an arrogant child. How dare you disobey your mother? Even showing up in the banquet with that scandalous dress. It seems to me you like to be punished".

Before the stepmother could touch her, Freya looked at her, smirked, and slapped the old woman's face even harder. "How dare you slap me in the face, you little piece of shit".
