CH. 5 - Countess Woodard

The investigation went so fast. I think the room I showed and my confessions may have helped the investigation. As a result, Countess Eva no longer has authority over the Woodard countdom. And I, as the successor, am being appointed as the new countess.

Originally, doon sa nabasa kong spript, magiging countess lang si Maeve sa bandang ending ng movie, as well as the former-countess' punishment. Pero dahil sa dumating ako, hindi ko na hihintayin iyun.

So, as the new countess of the Woodard, ay babalik na ako sa Woodard estate. Of course, there are still pests that need to be exterminated. Even though the former countess got stripped of authority, she is still living on the Woodard estate, along with her ugly daughters.

Hindi ako mapapanatag hangga't nandiyan sila sa tabi-tabi. There are more important things I need to look into at ayoko silang mangistorbo saakin habang ginagawa ko ang mga iyun. Kaya mas magandang mawala na sila nang mas maaga.

Pero bago ako tuluyan na bumalik doon ay kailangan ko muna magbaon. While I'm still at the Glover estate, nagpahanap na ako ng mga bagong tauhan na idadala ko sa Woodard estate pagbalik ko.

"Greetings Countess Woodard, my name is Arvin and I'm going to be your new butler", pagpapakilala nang nahanap kong butler. I'll be bringing him to the Woodard since I already saw his skills and I have to use those skills. I'll have him do my office work as a countess. I don't plan on doing those things, so he will be acting as my proxy. Plus, kampante ako na pagsisilbihan niya ako dahil anak siya ni Harvey, yung head butler ng Glover family.

"Arvin.. hmmm, okay. So your first job is to hire new servants. I don't care where they're from, as long as they do their job efficiently and have no connection to any ill-mannered people like my step family".

"I understand, Lady Maeve. May I know how many people I should hire?".

"Enough people to change all the current servants in the Woodard estate", saglit naman napaisip si Arvin tsaka siya tumango at nagsimula sa kaniyang trabaho.

As the new master, the servants must be new as well. Tsaka isa pa, mga tao doon ay kampon ni stepmother. Kahit ni isa sakanila, walang tumulong kay Maeve. Sumali pa sila sa pagpapahirap kay Maeve. TSK! Gusto ko, pagbalik ko doon, bago na ang lahat at sa tatlong tao na lang ako mabi-bwisit.

A few days later, Arvin, who has been busy these days, was able to hire new people. I already instructed him to kick out all the servants there. But since I am not that evil, they still receive their last salary plus a separation fee. However, I didn't give them a recommendation letter, so it will be difficult for them to look for a new job. Haha!

Ngayong nandito na ako sa Woodard estate, I am quite satisfied with the people who greeted me politely. Pero agad din yun napawi ng sumalubong saakin yung mga mag-iina na nagngingitngit sa galit.

I just rolled my eyes at them at tuloy-tuloy na pumasok sa loob. Mukhang kailangan ko ng totoong pesticide para sa tatlong ito. Pagkapasok ko ay napatingin ako sa kabuuan ng mansion. As far as I remember, lahat ng furniture dito ay mga binili ni Eva. Yes, let's just call her by her name. She's really not my mother, in fact, she is a stranger to me.
