"We picked Aelfric because he designs some of the most beautiful gardens."

"You will meet your chauffeur Jock later he is still in London right now. I had told him he was not needed quite yet. We chose him for his driving skills. He will be able to keep you safe if anything should happen."

"Why do you say he is not needed." I asked

"Well you want be in the Vampire world for long periods of time and I don't think it would be wise for you to be driven around the human world right now it would put a big spotlight on you. Or a target." I looked back at the piano he had stopped playing.

"Don't stop it was beautiful."

He started playing again and I turned back to what I was painting. I really didn't have much just shapes and colors I let my brush wander and my mind. My mind wandered from my garden to my new house, school and Rachel. Rachel, she acted so mean today it was not like her but I really have never kept anything from her so I could imagine she was just mad.

We sat in the drawing room for what seemed like hours the light started to fade on the horizon. Then my mind went back to what Tack ad said. I needed to know more about the killers. I needed to know what to look for.

"Tack?"

"Yes my love." He looked up but didn't stop playing.

I didn't look at him I stared at my painting "I need to know what to look for so I know what to avoid."

"What do you need to avoid."

"The Killers."

"That is just it love we don't want you to be looking it will make you to obvious. Your instincts will tell you if you are too close but please do try to snoop around looking for the killers."

"I just feel dumb... Not knowing. I don't want to fall into a trap."

"There is really nothing you can look for that look like everyone else. As far as we can tell they don't know about you. We plan on keeping it that way, that is why we must be careful."

"Yes I know."

Tack walked over behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist. He kissed me softly on my neck.

"What is it you painted?"

"I don't know really I haven't been paying attention."

"Well it is beautiful."

I looked at my canvas I had turned the shapes and colors into a beautiful garden. It had a fountain and a metal bench.

"I guess my mind is thinking of spring." I giggled.

"Yes I imagine your garden will look much like this."

He turned me around to I was facing him. He kissed me softly.

"Are you hungry my love." He said as he brushed my hair out of my face.

"Yes I guess I am. I really hadn't thought about it till now."

"I will let Parthenope know you are ready. Where would you like to eat ?"

"How about the dining room."

"Alright."

Tack left and I turned back to my painting I looked closely at the garden I had drawn some one standing far off in the distance. It didn't look like me or Tack it looked like a small child. She had long red hair and was wearing a blue dress. She was dancing around the bushes. Tack came up behind me again and put his arms around me. I jumped I didn't hear him come in.
