Chapter 2.3 Kiss

“I thought it was better to tell you all of the truth right off and not later then you would feel betrayed and used and I didn’t want that for you, you mean to much to me and not for your blood but for you the visions my mother has shown me of us the possibilities there are and how much I love you.”

I looked at him he was searing into my eyes and I could see the love so sincere and so vast. He put his head in his hands.

“I have loved you and have been waiting for you to come to me for so long.”

I got up slowly out of the chair and walked over to him and slowly brushed my fingers down the back of his hand. “Tack please look at me.” he sat back in his chair with his eyes closed. I sat in the chair next to him and took his hand, I held it with my hands brushing the back with my fingers. “That first day I saw you I knew that you were mint for me. I knew you were different from everyone else I wished I would find the one that would be my match the one who would knew me better than anyone else. And now you are here.”

Tack lifted his hand and brushed my cheek. I closed my eyes and leaned into his touch. 

“There is so much that needs to be said, But it can’t be done tonight.”

“When will I see you again.” I said not wanting to ever think about being apart from him.

“I wish I never had to leave your side. I must go to my family they will be waiting to hear good news from me. That is I wish to tell them good news.”

“That I will become a vampire so the elder blood line is not lost forever or that I love you.”

He looked at me with tear filled eyes that were so happy truly happy. I thought he knew I loved him but I hadn’t said it out loud to him.

“You love me!?” 

The happiness in his voice made me want to cry.

“How could you not know that I loved you.”

“You hadn’t said so I could not be sure if you did. This may have come off as just needing your blood I was so scared to loose you.”

“No, I mean yes it does sound that way but from the moment I saw you I knew I was mint to love you that there was a connection between us. So hearing all of this makes since it doesn’t feel wrong now that I know everything. I know there is so much more but all that is important I know. But I do have another question. Are all those people in the other room vampires and do they know about me? They looked so happy to see me.”

“Yes they are Vampires or humans who will become vampires. They knew that you would be coming tonight there are not very many secrets kept in the Vampire world. My mother is known for her visions…”

“Yah you said your mother has visions. Do you have any special gifts as well?”

“Yes but this is a topic for another time. I have a gift for you.” he said as he retrieved a box from the table in front of me.

“For me?”

“I wanted it to be a surprise but you already saw it.”

“Saw what? I didn’t see anything.” I looked around like a dork. 

“You saw me buy it.”

“Huh?”

He handed me a small box, I opened it and saw the necklace he had bought at the mall. 

“Oh.” I giggled “I guess I did see you buy this. I didn‘t know you saw me.” 

“Yes I saw you. The first time I saw you, you were in the store at school.”
