Friday October 21st
I woke up with my phone ringing, it was my mom.
" Hello mom."
"I thought you might still be asleep don't be late for school."
"I won't. How is New York?"
"It is great I love it here but I don't think I would ever want to live in a place like this it is too busy."
I sat up and put my phone on speaker so I could get dressed.
"What are your plans today?"
"Oh I don't know your father has meetings all day so I thought I would just do some shopping around the hotel and find a good restaurant for dinner. How about you having fun with the house all to yourself? I wish you would invite a friend over to stay the night with you."
"Well the only friend I would even want over I don't think you would like me to have over."
"Why wouldn't we want her to come over."
"Because it's not a her... it's a him."
"Oh...Well who is he?"
"He's a fairly new friend I met in Art he is new in town and we connected right away we have a lot in common."
"Oh...well... You're right about one thing I don't think he should spend the night. But I don't care if he comes over for the evening."
"Well his parents wanted me to ask you if I could go to the lake camping with them this weekend."
"Don't you think you will freeze?"
"No they have a cabin it won't be in tents or anything."
"Well I will talk to your father about it and call you later today."
"Okay that sounds good."
"Well I will let you go so you can get to school. I love you and I will talk to you later."
"Love you too mom."
"Oh before you go get your friends' parents phone number so I can call them I would like to know who they are."
"Yeah I will ask Him for it today and text it to you later. Love you."
"Love you too. Bye."
"Bye."
Great how was I going to pull this off. I finished getting dressed and went out to my car. My phone beeped telling me I had a text.
Don't forget about me.
It was Rachel, I did in fact forget I was supposed to pick her up. I text her back telling her I was on my way. She was out on the curb as soon as I pulled in front of her house.
"Well when are you going to tell me what is going on Cherry."
"What are you talking about?"
"Your parents are out of town and you are not planning any parties?"
"Are you forgetting I don't party. So why would I throw one?"
"I think you don't want people to know what you are really doing, alone...in your room." She blinked her eyes at me.
"What are you talking about?"
"You know what I'm talking about. Your doing Tack."
"Rachel I'm not going to talk to you any more if you don't get out of my business. I already told you I am not having sex."
