Wednesday October 18th

I woke up the next morning not really remembering what had happened the night before. My mom came in to wake me like usual but there was something in her eyes. Worry?

"Mom what is it?"

"Did something happen last night you seemed out of it when you got home it was like you were somewhere else."

I didn't know if I should tell her what had happened I didn't know if what happened was real or not. I remembered the bite Tack had given me. I could feel the pain it was causing this morning so I tried to discreetly cover my neck with a blanket so she wouldn't see it. Tack said the elder line went through her but did she know or was it kept a secret from her.

"Nothing happened really." I half lied. "I did run out of gas but I was close enough to a gas station that I coasted in on fumes so it was not a problem."

"Well you had me worried you looked very deep in thought and hardly said a word."

"Sorry about that mom. I guess I was deep in thought...I was just thinking about a paper... that is due this week I think I might change my topic so I guess I was just debating with my self on whether or not to change it." I lied again.

"Oh ok well I guess if you feel that you picked the wrong topic and if there is enough time I would say change it. Was that what you were debating wither or not you have the time?"

"Yeah mom." I lied again at least I was just agreeing with what she said so I wasn't making up the lies. I hated lying to her it was to easy she believed anything. I wondered why she didn't believe the vampire stuff. I guess I wouldn't have either if I hadn't seen it myself.

"Don't stress about it, you always do great in a time crunch."

"Thanks mom, I got to get ready for school I will talk to you later."

"Sure, and if there is anything I can do to help with your paper let me know. Dad and I will be out late tonight we are catching a late show at the Carmon Theatre. Annie is there this week."

"Okay have fun."

"Love you honey."

"Love you too mom."

Good they would be gone tonight so I can go back to that club. If I could find it. I looked in the mirror at my hickey. It was bad you could tell it was a bite mark and it was purple and blue but parts were turning yellow maybe it wouldn't last long. I got dressed making sure I had my neck covered thank goodness I had a thick necklace with a big bow on the side, it covered the make up perfectly. When I got to my car there was a piece of paper on my drivers seat. I got in and opened the paper. In nice neat writing was an address.

797 Tucker Lane

I put the paper in my purse. "I guess I know where I'll be going after school." I said aloud to myself. I didn't know where Tucker Lane was but I would have to look it up on the computer at school.

I got to school surprisingly on time I thought I was running late.

"Well hello Cherry." Rachel said.

"What?"

"You are glowing with happiness what is going on did you find something out about the guy."

I sighed there was no point in hiding it from her I was after all a picture book but I hoped to alter the image a little. There was no way in hell I was going to tell here everything I found out last night.

"Yes his name is Tack..." I stopped I didn't know his last name.

"Go on." she pushed.

"Well there is not much more to say."
