Chapter 4.1 Killers

Thursday October 20th

Killers! How did they find us. Then I realized I was carrying something I looked down it was a baby not more that a few weeks old. I turned around just in time to see one of the Killers leap at Tack and kill him. Then they turned and leaped at me and the baby I screamed so loud I woke myself up with a jolt. My mom ran into my room with my dad right behind her holding his gun.

"Cherry Cherry are you ok?" My mother said through tears.

She looked so scared I must have screamed out I was sweating and shaking so hard I couldn't even talk. I had to get myself under control.

"I'm fine it was just a dream I'm sorry it was just a nightmare."

"Cherry are you sure you are ok? You have never woken up screaming like that. We thought you were being killed." My mom said still worried.

"I'm sorry I'm fine it was just a dream. Dad I'm fine, you guys can go back to bed."

"Ok honey try not to have any more of those you almost gave me a heart attack." My dad said giving me a grin he was always good at making me laugh when I was down or scared. Then he left to room but my mother stayed.

"What was your dream about sweetie? Why were you so scared?"

I knew I couldn't tell her the truth so I told her around about truth.

"I was being chased me and a guy I was carrying something but I don't know what it was. All I can remember was that I turned around and the guy I was running with was killed by the things that was chasing us and then they turned to leap at me about the time they were in mid air was when I woke up I knew I was screaming in my dream I didn't know I was screaming for real. I'm sorry for scaring you and dad."

"Who was the guy running with you?"

"I don't know but the pain I felt in my dream was so strong We must have had a strong connection."

"You said you were carrying something do you remember what it was?"

"Not really it looked like a doll maybe." I half lied "But I don't really remember.

"Ok sweetie, try to get some sleep without the nightmares." She kissed my forehead and left my room.

What did that dream mean was there a meaning to it or was it just a mess of all the information I learned yesterday. I will tell Tack about it tomorrow. I knew I needed to be careful when I was with him. I was going to treat my dream like a vision of what would happen if I made love to Tack and got pregnant. They would find us and kill us and the whole Vampire world would be exposed to the Killers and The Killers would destroy them all.

I couldn't sleep anymore I laid awake till the sun started peeking over the mountains. I got up, showered and was dressed before my mom came in to wake me up she was surprised I was never up let alone dressed and ready for school when she came in to wake me.

"Cherry are you sure you are going to be ok."

"Yeah I just couldn't sleep after that dream it was just too real it freaked me out a little don't worry I will be fine." I must have convinced her she just smiled and kissed my forehead before leaving.

Now I was anxious to get to school I would be out of it all day. I walked down the hall to the kitchen and fixed myself some breakfast I ate slowly I had so much time to kill be for school I didn't want to get there to early because I would have to talk to Rachel and I really didn't want to do that today but I didn't want to stay home either it was 3 hours till school started so I decided to go to my house I wanted to see it again. I was about half way there when my phone rang it was Rachel, she only called me when she missed the bus.
