Chapter 7- Cameryn Anderson
"Cameryn! Catch!" Cassandra yelled before throwing the camera at me.
And so, I ran down the stairs.
I knew exactly where I was going. I've known Camilla since we were nine years old. So, I know my way around her house.
I heard footsteps behind me and knew it was Dennis.
Oh no.
"Cam! Run!" Camilla shouted, following me as she grabbed her brother's arm and pushed him out of the way before running with me.
I ran as fast as I could. My legs were on fire, they were burning.
"Remember the secret hideout?" Camilla managed to gasp out, still running as fast as she could.
I nodded. I value my life. I was scared that if I spoke, I would slow down and they would somehow kill me.
We rounded down the stairs and went in a small door.
I gasped for air and started laughing like crazy.
Camilla started giggling and sat down on the floor, trying to breathe normally.
"That was actually fun." She said with a tired smile.
"Yeah." I breathed out, wiping off my sweat.
I slid down the floor and tried to even up my breathing. I gave the camera to Camilla.
A bang startled Camilla and I.
"Gotcha." Dennis said with a smirk.
"How?" Camilla asked, dumbfounded.
Dennis pointed to the ceiling. Ah, the vent.
"That was tiring." Josh gasped.
"Yeah, and you guys--- Oh! Hey Cameryn!" Dennis smiled at me, "Long time no see."
What would I reply to that? I was the one that cut all communication with them.
As if it snapped in Camilla's mind that I was really here she whipped her head to where I was.
Awkward.
Josh slightly smiled at me.
"Would you look at that, the whole gang is back together."
Leave it to Dennis to make the whole thing even more awkward.
I nodded my head before turning to leave.
When I opened the door three girls stumbled and fell to the ground.
"The heck?" I stood there, dumbfounded.
Penny laughed nervously before checking the time on her non-existent watch, "Would ya look at that, my husband is waiting for me at home."
"Yeah, I-I gotta feed my... feed my cat!" Cassandra stammered, running to the front door.
Candice held her hands up as if surrendering, "I tried to warn them."
I knew I liked her the most.
Candice backed away slowly and walked to the front door.
"No! Dennis! Let. Go." I heard Camilla struggle behind my back.
That girl was never fit.
I sighed and turned around when I heard giggling.
Josh was tickling her and Dennis was trying to grab the camera.
I rolled my eyes and kicked Dennis on the shins.
"Ow!" He yelped, letting go of the camera.
Camilla cackled evilly.
Okay...
I streched my arms out and walked away from the three.
I slammed the door on the way out for some dramatic effects.
What can I say?
I love drama.
Footsteps made me look back.
Maybe I forgot something.
"Camilla?" I called out.
Nothing.
My house was near by, just a couple more steps.
"Okay then," I whispered to myself.
I unlocked the door with my keys but then something or someone grabbed me from behind.
I screamed. These arms were gripping me tight like they never wanted to let go.
"Let me go!" I tried squirming out of his grip but he didn't budge a single inch.
Next thing I know is that I was thrown to the wall of my house and was being strangled.
I tried kicking him but it was hard, my vision became blurry and I couldn't see properly.
So, this is how it ends then.
"Cameryn!" That was the last thing I heard before everything became dark.
***************************
Well, that escalated quickly.
Who was the guy?
Well, that's a mystery.
Anyway, Chloe Grace Moretz as the lovely Cassandra Maylor.
I'm still working on the rest of the cast.
