   "Sam, he's seen me. "

" Good, now we need to start running. "

Same put his arm around your shoulder and started pulling you back to run away. You followed him and stayed by his side as you ran. You didn't go too fast so Quinn could stay close to you, but it was far enough away he couldn't hurt you.

" Are we going with location one or two? "

" Two, it's further away from the war happening behind us and it'll give us enough room to dodge. When we get there I'll take the lead. "

   " I can do it. "

" I know you can, but like I said before I don't want you to see too much blood being shed. It's not good for your mind. And I don't want you to try and kill him out of a blind rage. He's going to talk to you and try to get you to run at him, but he's going to capture you instead. "

" Fine, but I'm stepping in when I think I need to. "

   " Just don't get hurt, that's all I ask. "

You started running in a different direction, and Sam stayed beside you. He never left your side, and his hand remained on his hilt, ready to unsheath it. Quinn wasn't too far behind you both, and the further out you traveled, the older the buildings got. The lights on the street guided you as they guided Quinn. The moon was bright, and the stars in the sky were beautiful, but you couldn't focus on the stars above you. Finally, you reached an old building that was used for parties and events when the town was first being made. The top was gone from the building, but there were still lights hung up around the building. People still took care of what was left, and sometimes there were still small parties that were held there. But now it was the battleground between you three.

" Stop right there! " Quinn yelled.

You stopped because there was nowhere else to run, and Sam stopped as well. You both turned around and faced Quinn. He looked angry and exhausted from running so far. Sam unsheathed his sword and stood in front of you.

" Oh, and who's this my star? Another player in your little game? It seems we have a lot of people coming between us, I guess you're just so irresistable. "

Sam didn't respond, and you didn't want to reply because you knew that you would be yelling curses at the man if you opened your mouth.

" Oh? You won't say anything. The guard in front of you must be trained well. His posture is excellent and his sword looks like no other. His eyes look like they're made of steel. You've found another wonderful man, but if it's not me then you've got the wrong guy. "

" Quinn, this ends here. It's time. "

" Oh? Is it? You know I'm pretty sure we have all of the wedding decorations still up at the palace. We could finish the night off there or here after I slay this fool in front of me. "

   " That's not going to happen. "

" Oh? Would you rather I marry us both here and now? I can certainly do that much. "

" The only marriage tonight will be the one between you and death. I will protect her. " Sam said, raising his sword a little higher.

" Is that so? Then you'll fall! "

Quinn charged towards you with his sword raised. Sam pushed you back and blocked Quinn's blow. The sound of their swords hitting filled the broken-down building. You took your sword out as you held it in front of yourself, in case you would need it. Sam had trained you a little before the day came, but you knew that you wouldn't last long because of your lack of skill and practice. As Sam would try and strike Quinn, He would find his attempts close to making the connection and slicing Quinn, but it would be deflected. As the two men fought, Quinn started reciting words that he longed to hear.
