chapter nine

August 

After dinner, I took Victoria to a park with a large fountain. We sat on the ledge of the fountain, quietly looking at the water together. Victoria had hiked her dress up and took her heals off to set her feet in the water. I didn't know why she was doing this, but I guess she found it soothing. 

We hadn't talked in a while, and I was kind of bored. 

"So.." I said after what felt like a 30 year silence. Victoria looked up at me then back at her feet. "So.." She repeated, kicking her feet through the water. I scooted over to Victoria and she looked up at me. "Hi." She whispered. 

I gently touched her cheek and she bit her lip. "August. Please." She said, gently pulling away and looking down. "I don't think I can do this." She told me, wrapping her arms around herself. As much as I didn't really like being her mate, I felt a little ping in my heart. 

She looked back up at me. "It's not you, it's just... we never get along. And we're completely different people. And then all of a sudden, we're mates and then you're continually kissing me and taking me on a date and.. I.. just.. I just can't." She told me, looking back down. I looked away, not daring to show emotion to her or saying anything. 

"August.. Please don't hate me. You know it's true." She whispered, grabbing my hand. I just shook my head no and stood up. "Come on. Let's just go home, then. Then maybe you can fucking reject me." I growled, heading back towards the parking lot, where I parked. 

I heard a splash of water and hearing Victoria's footsteps behind me. "Okay, okay. Come on. I'm sorry. Can we at least talk about it?" She asked, following behind me. But I didn't respond to her and just grabbed my car key when we got to the parking lot and to the car. 

Pressing the unlock button on the key fob, I went to open the driver side door but Victoria stopped me and got between me and the door. "Out. Of. My. Way. Girl." I growled the last word, baring my canines to her. But she wasn't backing down. 

Victoria grabbed me by the back of the neck and pulled me into her and kissed me. I inhaled, putting my hands on either side of her against the car door. 

I heard her drop her heals and she put her other hand on my chest and lightly tugged on my jacket. She was trying to get it off. I helped, and pulled it off, throwing it on top of the car and grabbing Victoria by the waist, deepening the kiss. 

My hands roamed up her waist, around to her back and shoulder blades. I felt the zipper to her dress, and quickly pulled it down, causing her dress to drop from her upper arms, to her elbows. Victoria gasped, quickly covering her chest and blushing mad. "I.. um.. I don't think you.." But I shushed her with a quick kiss, gently taking her arms away from her body. 

"You're beautiful. Don't ever think otherwise." I whispered, gently bringing my hands to her waist and pulling her closer to me before I leaned down, taking one of her nipples into my mouth. Victoria moaned, her back arching, instantly giving me more breast. 

"August! We're in public." Victoria moaned. But there wasn't and hasn't been anyone in the park or the parking lot since we got here since it was late at night. I just nibbled her nipple, causing her to moan more. 

I opened the back door, gently pulling Victoria around it and shoving her in. She gasped at me, blushing. "You're so lucky I'm hot and horny or I'd be so mad for you shoving me." She told me before pulling her dress fully off of herself and grabbing me by my tie to get on top of her. 

I reached behind me to close the door before leaning down and kissing her and reaching my hand down her panties. She was already so wet for me. So I inserted a couple fingers in and started to move them. She pulled back slightly to moan, pressing her forehead to mine. "August." She gasped, falling back against the seats. 

Seeing her like this, squirm under me because of my touch. Goddess, was this hot. I didn't care anymore that she used to not be my most favorite person. I just wanted her. Wanted to be with her. Get to become better, for her. 

Victoria orgasmed against my hand, screaming in pleasure. "Fuck!" She whimpered, as I slowed down my hand before pulling it out of her and her panties. I leaned down, slowly, passionately, kissing her. 

I felt her try to fumble with my pants as we kissed, but I stopped her. "Please. You made me feel good. Let me do the same." She almost begged. I shook my head no. "No. I can't do that to you. If we go any further, I won't be able to control myself. You deserve the chance to reject me." 

She looked into my eyes. "Don't say that." She whispered, her eyes darkening slightly. That usually happens when your wolf tries to dominate. "I don't want to. Not anymore." 

Victoria flipped us over, causing me to be on my back and her hovering over me, her red hair covering our faces. "Tori." I said, reaching up to touch her cheek. "Are you sure?" I asked and she nodded. "Positive." 

And that's when she pulled her panties off and threw them somewhere and unbuttoned my pants. She was able to pull my pants and boxers down enough to get my pulsing hard member out and started to jerk me off. I growled in pleasure, bucking my hips to cause more friction. 

She giggled at me before leaning over, kissing my neck as she was jerking me off. She was going to mark me. 

It was tradition that mates mark each other, usually a bite mark on each other's neck. Once marked and mated, the mark turns a nude color. Just a shade or two darker than the wolf's natural skin tone. But it gives the signal that, that wolf is taken and has a mate. But mating comes with more than just a mark. 

Once you're officially mated and marked, you can feel each other's emotions. You feel stronger together and as one instead of two. You become more possessive of each other and would want to stop anything and everything you could from taking your mate away. And as an alpha, these things would be double for me and for Victoria as a luna.  

I felt her canines sink into the base of my neck. It burned for a second but the pain stopped as soon as she lifted up from me and pushed her hair back for me to get full access to her neck. So I pulled her to me, kissing up and down both sides of her neck until I found a spot right under her ear where she moaned loudest at. That's where my mark was going. So my canines came out and sunk into the flesh. 

I pulled back and I could already feel the bond grow stronger. That's when I flipped us back over and now she was under me. "Ready?" I asked before she nodded and her eyes went fully black. "Ready." 

I knew mine went black as well from the dominance raging through my body. I opened up her legs and lined myself up with her core before gently pushing in, feeling her warmth around me. Victoria moaned. "August!" 

I moved, in and out, slowly, allowing her to adjust. She became more and more of a moaning mess, the longer I went. So I went harder, faster, deeper. Until I felt her tighten around me. She was close. 

"Cüm with me, Tori. Fuck, baby." I groaned, angling myself to go faster and reaching down to rub her as well, along with my thrusts. Victoria's eyes rolled to the back of her head, and she strained out a moan as we both came. 

We rode out our highs before I slowly stopped and pulled out of her. I pulled Victoria up to my chest and held her close, putting my face in her neck where her mark wasn't. 

She wrapped her arms around my neck. And we just sat there, holding each other.
