Victoria's POV

I had Emmalynne laying on my knees and I was rubbing her head. She was smiling up at me, probably because I was rubbing it. "You like that, pretty girl?" I smiled. She just made a little noise at me and smiled more. I giggled. "You're so beautiful when you smile." I cooed.

Dad and Declan were both asleep and both of them were snoring. Which I found funny. But Emmalynne didn't seem to care. She was just excited someone was giving her attention.

Then August walked in. "Hey." I said, stopping my head rubbing to look up at him. He smiled before walking over and looking down at Emmalynne. "Hi, pretty lady." August beamed. Emma cooed and smiled. "Is that daddy?" I asked her and she just giggled a little.

He picked her up off of me with his one arm and held her. He seemed like such a good dad already and already seemed so in love with Emma and Declan.

"Dad said you went over to talk to the kid. Got anything out of him?" I asked, when he sat down in a chair with Emma. He shook his head no. "All I got out of him was him saying me to ask you on who he was."

I gave him a shrug. "I'm just as clueless as you are. I honestly don't recognize him. Wish I could help." I told him, leaning back against the mattress. I was able to get it to come up like a recliner so it would be more comfortable.

August just shook his head. "It's fine. If you don't know him, you don't know him. I assumed he was trying to throw me off."

I nodded absentmindedly. "How's your arm, by the way?" I asked. August looked up at me then to his arm. "Still a little sore. But hopefully I can start taking it out of the sling tomorrow." He said then looked back to Emmalynne.

I noticed Emmalynne was already asleep. So far, she has never fallen asleep when being held. But she's just a few hours old, so I wouldn't really know. But I guess she really loves her dad to be able to fall asleep in his arms.

"She seems to love you so much, already." I said, sighing. August nodded. "And I love her." He said, gently rocking her. I smiled. "You're such a good dad, already, August." I told him, moving to get off the bed and got up. I was still a little sore from pushing out two watermelon sized babies, but it wasn't as bad as earlier.

I walked over to them, and kissed August's cheek. He looked back up at me and kissed me on the lips. "I love you, too. Don't worry." He smirked. I just rolled my eyes and lightly slapped him on the shoulder before turning to dad and lightly shaking him. He jumped awake and looked up at me. "Oh. Hey, Butterfly." He yawned and stretched. "Hey, daddy."

"What time is it?" He asked, getting up from his seat. "Like 4:30." August replied.

"Okay. I think I'm going to go back home if you don't need anything. Take a nap in a real bed before I start hurting from sleeping in a chair." Dad sighed and I nodded. "Yeah, I think I'm good for now. August is here if I need him." I gave my dad a hug and a kiss on the cheek. "Love you, Butterfly." He said, kissing me on the head and letting go of me. "Love you too, daddy. I'll see you later." And then he left.

I walked over to Declan's bassinet and he was awake, just looking around. "Hi, handsome." I smiled and picked him up and rocked him. "I didn't know you were awake." I cooed and found my way back to the bed and sat down with him. I kissed Declan on the cheek and he smiled up at me. I giggled. "Did I kiss you? Did mommy kiss you?" I asked, kissing him again. Which he smiled to.

Declan had nice, red hair on his head and my eyes and looked kind of like me. He would be such a handsome kid, one day. August thought Emmalynne looked like a mix of the both of us, but I  she looked just like her daddy other than the brown hair.

I rubbed Declan's little head of red hair and he started to fall asleep. "Oh, someone likes their head rubbed." I cooed and continued to rub it. "Such a cute baby."

I still couldn't believe I was a mother. Not of just one baby, but two. It was insane that in a short few months, I would actually catch feelings for someone I didnt used to like, and then become mates with him and have his kids. All before I hit my twenties.

"Hey. What's going on?" August asked as he sat next to me. I jumped, not realizing he was so close. He immediately grabbed me to steady me. "What?" I asked looking up at him. "You spaced out. What's wrong?" He asked again and took a now sleeping Declan with his one arm away from me and stood back up to set him down in his crib.

I shook my head. "I'm fine." I lied. Which I honestly wasn't. I was feeling a bit overwhelmed.

August gave me a look that read as, "really?", as he sat back down on the bed next to me. "You're overwhelmed. I know you are. What's really going on?" He asked. I just shrugged and moved my head to look away from him. But he grabbed my chin to look at him. "Fine. You don't have to tell me. But know I'm here, love." He said before passionately kissing me. I kissed back, grabbing the front of his shirt to pull him closer.

I pulled myself up on his lap and pushed him back on the bed, not daring to break the kiss. I was getting turned on. To which August chuckled against my lips. "You literally just had two babies. Let's, like, NOT, break you today?"

I groaned. And he laughed more. "Victoria, it's not like I'm going anywhere." He told me, sitting back up and wrapping his arm around me. "I know. But I'm horny." I whined and pouted. But August just kissed my bottom lip. "I'm sorry, love. But maybe in a few days after your healed." He told me. I just pouted more.

"You're lucky you're cute." I said and slid off his lap.
