The Seven Potters

"Can you get that?" Fred asked, pointing to the newspaper that had just landed at the front door of the shop, "please?" Emmie asked,
"Please," he sighed,
"Yeah,"
She opened the front door and bent down to pick up the newspaper,
"Oi!" A man shouted as he walked past, she looked up to see a skin head man wearing ragged robes and large boots spit on the ground,
"Huh?"
"Dirty half-blood," he shouted at her as he pulled out his wand, Emmie reached for her wand before realising she had left it back in the shop.
Fred walked towards the door to see what all the shouting was but it was too late, Emmie was on the floor and the man was gone.
"Emmie," he said frantically, falling to his knees beside her,
"It's okay, just breath," he said before looking down at her legs.
They were covered in blood. So much that he couldn't see the wounds it was coming from,
"Oh Godrick," he whispered to himself,
"George!"
George came running to his side,
"Help, me will you."
They carried her inside and placed her on the floor of the shop.

Mrs Weasley stood at her front door, she could see two people in the distance. Fred and George, and Fred was carrying someone. Emmie.
She ran towards them and noticed Emmie's legs covered in bandages.
"We didn't know where else to go," George spoke,
"It's okay, come in."

When Emmie woke up she was in a bed at the Burrow, her legs were still covered with bandages but all the blood was gone. There was a knock at the door, "come in," she said quietly and Mrs Weasley entered,
"How're you feeling dear?" She asked,
"Okay, I think," Emmie replied,
"I'm going to quickly change your bandages," she looked at Emmie's worried face, "don't worry, you'll be fine in about a week."
She flicked her wand at Emmie's legs, the bandages unraveled to reveal her pink, scarred skin, and new bandages appeared.

A few days later and it was just Mrs Weasley, Ginny and Emmie in the Burrow, the others had gone to Harry's house to transport him out. Emmie limped down the stairs, her bandages were off finally but she wasn't fully better yet.
She joined Ginny, who was sat on the sofa, it seemed as though, all though they had only just left, she was already waiting for them to return.
"Hey," Emmie said,
"Hey," Ginny smiled
There was an awkward silence,
"Did you hear?" Ginny asked, "Tonks and Remus got married,"
"Aw," Emmie smiled, "congratulations to them,"
There was another silence,
"Are you scared?" Ginny asked,
"Terrified," Emmie replied, "you?"
"Same,"
"But they'll be fine," Emmie spoke quickly, "the Ministry think that Harry's moving on the thirteenth and it's all untraceable so... What could go wrong."

Mrs Weasley entered the living room, "do you girls want anything to eat?" She asked but they both declined. Emmie was too nervous to eat.
"Are you excited for the wedding?" Mrs Weasley asked,
"Yeah," Emmie replied, "Fred bought me a dress that'll be perfect."

A few hours passed of awkward conversation when they heard a loud crash coming from the yard. Mrs Weasley and Ginny ran out and Emmie hobbled behind them to see Harry and Hagrid.
"Harry? What happened? Where are the others?" Cried Mrs Weasley.
"What d'you mean? Isn't anyone else back?" Harry panted, he looked between the three of them and when he got to Emmie she shook her head sadly.
"The death eaters were waiting for us," Harry told them, "we were surrounded the moment we took off. They knew it was tonight. I don't know what happened to anyone else. Four of them chased us, it was all we could do to get away and then Voldemort caught up with us."
"Thank goodness you're all right," Mrs Weasley said, pulling him into a hug.

Emmie looked over at Ginny who was staring off into the distance looking confused, her confusion turned to shock, "look!" She shouted, pointing to a spot several feet away.
A blue light had appeared in the darkness, it grew larger and brighter and then Lupin and George appeared, spinning and then falling. Emmie knew immediately that there was something wrong, Lupin was supporting George, who was unconscious and whose face was covered in blood.
As Harry ran forwards and helped Lupin carry him inside, she noticed something. One of George's ears were missing.
They placed him on the sofa and Emmie sat down on the floor next to him, she stroked his hair and then looked up at Mrs Weasley, "will he be okay?"
"I think so, although there's no chance of replacing his ear,"
Emmie just nodded and looked back at him.

There was a noise from the yard, Harry, Remus and Hagrid ran out and soon returned with Hermione and Kingsley.
Emmie stood up and hugged Hermione before returning back to the floor.
She looked up at her and they smiled at each other weakly knowing exactly what each other was thinking. They couldn't be at ease until Fred and Ron were back.
Suddenly there was a great crash from the kitchen.
"Back off. Let me see my son!"
Mr Weasley burst into the living room with Fred right behind him.
Emmie immediately lept up, not caring how much it hurt her legs, and ran to Fred to hug him but he pushed her off, he wasn't even looking at her. He pushed right passed her and ran to George, he seemed to be lost for words as he gaped over the back of the sofa at his twin's wound as if he could not believe what he was seeing.
Perhaps roused by the sound of Fred and their father's arrival, George stirred.
"How do you feel Georgie?" Whispered Mrs Weasley,
"Saint like," George murmured,
"What wrong with him?" Croaked Fred, looking terrified, "is his mind affected?"
"Saint like," repeated George, opening his eyes and looking up at his brother, "you see... I'm holy. Holey, Fred, geddit?"
Mrs Weasley sobbed harder than ever as colour flooded Fred's pale face.
"Pathetic," he told George, "with the whole wide world of ear related humour before you, you go for holey?"
"Ah well," said George, grinning at his tear soaked mother, "you'll be able to tell us apart now, anyway, mum."
Fred looked at his twin for a few second before realising something, he spun round to face Emmie and held his arms out wide. She hugged him tightly and he whispered into her hair, "sorry,"
She shook her head and laughed through her tears, "I'm glad you're back."

Ron and Tonks arrived next, Tonks beaming at how well Ron had stunned a death eater.
Next Bill and Fleur landed on a Thestral.
"Bill! Thank god!" Mrs Weasley ran forwards, but the hug Bill bestowed upon her was perfunctory. Looking directly at his father he said, "Mad-Eye's dead."
