Girl Next Door (Louis Fanfic)

Chapter One

June 8, 2000

Somewhere an hour away from Doncaster, England

"Mom!!! Are we there yet?!? We've been driving for hours!" I yell, bouncing up and down in my booster seat.

"Erica, you asked that question two minutes ago! We will get there when we get there!" she yells back. Okay for a six year old who is an only child, I have very good patient. Except when you have been driving for 5 hours and you have had one too many juice boxes and your parents don't want to stop cause it was only supposed be a three hour drive from London to Doncaster and you still have an hour left to go.

"Mom! I got to stop!" I say. Bouncing around even louder in my seat. My mother turns around sharply and my dad glared at me through the rear view mirror.

"Honey, we stopped ten minutes ago. You got to wait." they say warningly. I sigh. I look out the window and drift to sleep.

An hour or so later...

Doncaster, England

"Erica, we're here. Wake up." I rub my eyes. I stretch and jump out of the car. In front of me stands a gorgeous house. White with black shutter and a red front door. There is a garden exploding with roses, daisies, and other flowers I can't name.

"Wow it's beautiful!" I say. We go inside and my mother shows me to my room. It's huge. It's located in the front of the house in right corner. There is a window that faces the front and another on the side that shows the neighbor's house. I look out and see a boy peering out his window. He smiles and waves. I quickly hide. I look again a few minutes later and the boy is gone. The doorbell rings and I run downstairs. Mom opens the door and the boy and his family stands there.

"Hi!" says the woman. "We are your next door neighbors... The Tomlinson's"
