Girl Next Door (Louis Fanfic)

Chapter Two

Mom invited the Tomlinson's in for some pie. The mom introduces the boy as Louis and he had a two year old sister named Charlotte.

"This is Erica!" my mom said cutting some pie. I look down at my shoes trying not to make eye contact. I was shy when it came to meeting new people. I glanced up to see Louis staring at me. He had dark brown hair and pretty blue eyes. I looked back down at my shoes. The parents continued to talk about random boring adult things. Louis came up to me.

"How old are you?" he asked

"How old are you? I asked back

"I asked you first."

"Six,"

"Eight. So watcha wanna do?" he asked staring me.

"I don't know... Explore?"

"Great! I know the perfect place!" he said grabbing my hand and leading me outside. There was a forest behind my house that we attempted to walk through. After a while the forest turned into a meadow.

"C'mon Erica!" he said grabbing me hand and racing me to a tree. He started to climb up it. I looked at him.

"Uhhh Louis I can't get up there..."

"Why not?" he said looking down at me.

"I'm too short, I can't reach."

"Oh!" he said scrambling to the lower branches. "Here" he said offering me his hand. I grabbed it and he pulled me up. We climbed to the tallest branches, which if mother was her wouldn't approve, and finally poked our heads out.

"Look over there!" Louis pointed. I looked to where he was pointing and saw tall buildings.

"That's downtown Doncaster!" he said offering me a small red fruit. "Oh it's a crab apple." he said handing it to me. I took it and took a bite. It was sour and I spit it out.

"Hahaha!" he laughed. I hit him.

"That's not funny!" I said.

"Oh c'mon kid, it was just a joke. I'm sorry." he laughed. That gave me an idea. I found a crab apple with a worm hole in it. I handed it to Louis.

"Here I forgive you." I smiled. He took a bite and swallowed. He looked back at the apple to see half a worm.

"Hey Louis, you know what's worse than finding a worm in your apple? Finding half a worm!" I giggled.

Realizing what had happened; he tried to up chuck but failed to do it.

"Rest in peace little wormy" I whispered. Louis smiled.

"You know what kid. I like you. Friends?"

"Friends!" I said sticking out my hand. He spit on his then shook mine. I liked this kid too.
