Marcus ~
The group filed off of the plane with Caroline clinging to Marcus' side as if they knew something that everyone didn't.
Marcus swiveled his head, making sure Kenzie didn't need help with her bag, only to see that Slater had it slung over his shoulder.
"Need help with your bag, Lex?" Pierce asked in a syrupy sweet voice. "It's the least I could do as Dec's best man."
"Whoa, whoa, whoa. You are not the best man." Caleb said as he grabbed his bags and Lainey's.
"You're right he's not. Cause I am." Marcus added with a grin.
"Bullshit." Slater added.
"Let's let Lexi choose." Kincaid added.
"That's not fair either, of course she'd choose you. You let her punch you in the face on a daily basis." Gunner chuckled.
"He's got a good point." Lexi laughed.
Declan was smiling and laughing at his teammates as they argued over the honor of being his best man.
"We could create a bracket and let em duke it out." Logan sneered as he passed by Declan, who laughed even harder at the idea of them fist fighting for the privilege.
"Oh you just tell me when and where. I'll go ahead and order my tux." Kincaid said, shooting Lexi a wink.
"You guys are a mess." Natalie said, rolling her eyes as she hooked arms with Lexi.
"Oh yeah? So which one of you is Lexi's maid of honor?" Pierce sassed back at Natalie.
"That's easy." Lexi said over her shoulder. "All of them."
"You can't do that." Nate scoffed.
Lexi spun on her heel and pinned Nate with a playful glare as she lowered her sunglasses.
"I'll do whatever I damn well please, thank you very much." Lexi sassed.
Nate held his hand up in a surrender pose and laughed at Lexi's sudden attitude.
"Watch it. She's fiercely loyal, man." Declan said with a grin.
"Oh you don't have to tell me." Nate said reaching out and giving Lexi a hug that she pretended to dislike as if he were her older brother - which he kind of was.
They all piled into ubers and Marcus felt Caroline squeeze his hand every time they passed a chapel on the way to the hotel.
I see em' too baby, and I'm just as excited.
Marcus pressed his lips against the side of Caroline's head, loving how content and happy she looked, making a mental note of the chapel locations.
Once they reached the hotel the group gathered in the lobby as Declan and Lexi got everyone checked in.
"This is where we part ways." Lexi said, fanning out room keys.
"We're not sleeping in the same room?" Pierce asked Natalie, looking down at her with sad puppy dog eyes.
"Nope. Sorry. No boys allowed." Natalie sassed.
"Then who am I rooming with?" Pierce asked with irritation in his voice.
"You're lookin at him." Caleb said with a wide grin.
"Great." Pierce muttered snatching the room key.
"Quit pouting, Hollywood, I'm sure you and Nat will find a way to get it in." Nate joked.
"I don't know what you're smiling so big about. We aren't sleeping in the same room either." Claire said with a grin, pressing herself against Nate's chest.
