Gandalf didn't talk much more before he left saying he had to meet up with some of the other dwarves that were joining the company. Stating something about trouble finding the hobbit hole from the west side. However luckily, he remembered to give the cloaked woman the directions before taking off with a parting “ Meeting is tomorrow night.”
The directions Gandalf gave Green Cloak were pretty much straightforward, she just needed to stay on the trail from the Green Dragon till she finally reached the hobbit hole with the dwarven rune meaning 'burglar' marked on the door. She had patiently waited an hour after the time Gandalf told me to arrive, knowing how puntional dwarves normally are.
"Such a simple ride to start this grand ole adventure," She thought bitterly, "off to destroy a dragon and hopefully reclaim a dwarven homeland" She swore that this wizard had a death wish-
Yet, after all that it seemed that the craved mark on the door was pointless, the horse and number of ponies outside were plenty enough to find the right hole. She chuckled quietly as she manevor her horse, ( Hithui she was affectionately named) towards the other side of the horse she reconized as Gandalf’s.
Dismounting, she moved to gently pet her mare as the horse snorted side eyeing the ponies. Green Cloak decided, despite being at the house of a supposed thief, that she trusted the other halflings around here enough not to bring in her bow and quiver, instead, she tied them securely onto Hithui and buckled her sword and its sheath around her waist, alongside her dagger.
Making her way up to the round, green door with the golden knocker, Green Cloak couldn't help but overhear the loud, deep, shouting and cheers from within. Yup, she shook her head bemusedly, those are dwarves in there, she pulled on the bell string.
The shouting stopped,
anxiously she tightened the hood around her face, tucking her chin so the woolen fabric hid her features more darkly,
An exhausted-looking Hobbit opened the door. "Just come in."
The Green Cloak had to hold a bite down on her lip to muffle her laughter as she politely wiped her thin boots on the steps outside before stepping through the round threshold. Ducking low as she entered, she internally thanked Elentari that the ceilings were a bit higher on the inside, so she wasn't completely bent over as she turned to the hobbit.
She bowed silently in greeting and thanks for holding the door. She wasn't quite sure if she wanted everyone to know her identity. However, she wasn't raised to abandon all social rules.
"At least someone has some manners" The Hobbit, Bilbo, according to Gandalf, was related to a Great Took, whatever that is. However, she couldn't help but think and wonder how Gandalf convinced this poor soul to join this dangerous quest with a band of Dwarves.
She didn't have much time to study the shaken Hobbit after she, with as much quiet politeness as she could manage, prevented him from taking her cloak and placed her bag down in the corner of the entryway before she noticed the whispering down the hall. Green Cloak pointed to the noise and Bilbo seemed to understand the sign and quickly answered in a puzzled voice.
"Oh yes, the party...meeting...quest gathering thingy, its- its this way." She again ducked her head to hide the smile once more as she walked slowly behind the Hobbit.
She might just enjoy this reckless journey after all.
Cloak could understand the whispering through the front room as Bilbo led the way. It was amusing how they were questioning the person whom she assumed was Gandalf so incrediously.
"But How ?"
"Well, Master Kili, I invited them."
"Could it be?"
