I was still with Claire, letting her ramble about things to pass time when I saw Jack walking over to me. The man was practically elected leader of whatever we have here only because he's our only doctor.

"Hey Charlotte right?" I looked up and so did Claire. "Ya but my friends call me Lottie". Jack smiled, smiled like I considered him a friend already. "Well Lottie, I need some help with one of the passengers, he's got a piece of something um". He didn't want to get to graphic with Claire there but I knew what he meant.

"Sure, just lead the way". I got up and turned to Claire, she smiled and I did do and while walking away I waved. This was so much more human contact then ever. I got to the man with Jack and started to explain that he needed me too stitch him up.

I saw some blood seeping through Jacks shirt, but I didn't say anything because he never told about anything. "I have to go see if there anyone else but you can handle this right?" I looked up at jack and nodded while he walked off. I got the supplies I needed and I started sewing the man up a bit when I saw an ID card hangout of his pocket.

I took it, it has any normal things a driver's license would have then his job title, a US Marshal. If he was on the plane, he must of been escorting someone of of Sydney and back to LA. I put the card back, now learning that there's a criminal in our mists means I have to do my job even better now.

I got dark pretty fast, I still hadn't seen Sawyer, I hoped he was ok because he did save my life after all. I walked along a bit of the shore when I heard it. "Blondie, long time no see". I turned my head and I saw Sawyer with his arms out looking like he wanted a hug. I denied it as I was still covered in blood. I walked over to him, happy he was alive but was accepting the fact that he was kind of annoying. "Nice to see you too Sawyer".

Sawyer had a big smile on his face like he had just won the lottery. "Well did ya know that, the big guys, selling stuff at his vending booth. I got pretty annoyed at the nickname, Hurley was just being a good dude. I walked away and in the corner of my eye I could see Sawyer with a small smirk on his face like he was proud of his work.

It was pitch black by now, I made my way back to Claire who was sitting on a log, eating some of the food Hurley gave her when he came around again and gave me one. I looked up at him "Wow the service here is great, I'll be sure to leave a tip". I her Hurley snicker and Claire looked up at me with a smile. I turned my head for a moment and then a sound, that sounded so strange and different was being blasted across the beach.

Me, Claire and Hurley all exchanged looks when I ran to find Jack but he found me first. "Did you hear that" he asked me in which I replied quite sarcastically "Oh you mean, the random, crazy loud sound coming from a nearby jungle, no I didn't hear it. Me and Jack walked up closer to the end of the beach. Other people started joining us. A man walked up beside me, with a hood on and a British accent.

"Terrific".
