The tide

I was at the beach this morning. I got to the beach and the tide was high. The last part of the plane was about to be swept away. I saw crashing waves. I ran to the water and started taking and grabbed different suitcases and bags. I waited a bit for the ride to go down but it didn't. I saw Michael struggling to carry different things.

I ran up to him. "Hey, let me help you with that" I grabbed some of the things he was carrying and he smiled. We started walking closer inland when Hurley joined us. "Hey dudes" I smiled at him seeing he was carrying things too. He walked down a different path and me and Michael walked past Sawyer who was trying to pick a lock on some case.

"Your wasting your time man, I'll put you on my back and fly us to LA" I laughed and Sawyer responded. "You better find yourself an runway, daddy cause there ain't no lock I can't pick" Hurley walked up behind me after he dropped off his stuff probably. "What's he trying to do?" Michael laughed. "Pick the lock on a Halliburton" Hurley replied with a laugh.

Sawyer looked at me and spoke up. "Any chance, you were training to pick locks too?" I looked at him. "Oh yeah, Halliburton's included but I'm just not in the mood to help you today" I was bluffing. I could maybe pick the lock but I really didn't believe myself so why not tease Sawyer. He looked at me and glared at all of us.

Michael spoke up again. "The only way your going to open that case is with pure force man, impact velocity" Sawyer looked up. "What the hells that supposed to mean?" Michael quickly responded. "You gotta hit it with something hard like a sludge hammer or the axe" We walked away and I saw Sawyer look down in either defeat or disappointment.

A lot of the camp had moved at this point and I saw Kate camp running up to me. "Hey, you know the case that Sawyer, I have stuff in there from the Marshall that he can't have" I looked around then back at her. "What's in there" She looked down. "Some guns and something I need" I looked at her and slightly smiled. "Ok so you want me to know"

She nodded before speaking. "Your the only person I trust 100%" I laughed and replied. "I'd say 99% for you because I still haven't gotten that drink" She smiled and looked down before I spoke up again. "Your secrets safe with me always" She smiled at me before walking away.

The whole camp had moved at this point, hopefully Kate had the case by now as well. I looked and saw Kate by a fire. She was holding and playing around with something. Probably the other thing that she told me was in the case. I saw Jack looking at her and she had to have told him too as he told me even after I found out.

Claire was still missing though and that's all I thought about in that moment.
