Common sense

I was over on the other side of the field with Hurley and Charlie. We watched Michael talk closely about which club to use. I turned to see Hurley and Charlie dancing beside me. I laughed before Jack yelled. "Hey, heads up over there!"

Both Hurley and Charlie spoke up. "Don't blow it! No chance" I smiled and laughed. I was forgetting what was in my back pocket. I spoke up. "You won't get anywhere near us!" I looked and watched as someone walked up to Jack.

He pointed his finger at us as signal to wait and I turned to Hurley. "Save me a spot later?" He looked at me. "Always dude but where are you going?" I looked at him. "The two people with medical experience are about 20 minutes away from everyone else doesn't seem very smart"

Hurley looked at and nodded while smiling. I started to jog closer to Jack. I got there and he looked at me. "Where you going?" I looked at me and smiled. "Back to camp, medical person here, medical person there, common sense" He laughed and so did Michael. I smiled back at him and started to walk back the beach.

I made it back to the beach about 20 minutes later. I walked up to Kate to see her standing close to Boone and Shannon. Shannon waved and I smiled at her. Boone looked at me. "You were at the caves right?" I smiled. "Yep and yes Jack is playing golf I mean how abnormal is it for a spinal surgeon to play golf" I scoffed finishing my sentence.

They all laughed and Kate replied. "Not everyday on a deserted island after a plane crash" I pointed my finger at her. "Touché" She laughed. "I'm going to go check it out!, Boone? You coming" He stood up and replied. "You bet" I looked at Kate and took the wood in her arms. "I got it go" She smiled and walked off with Boone and Shannon who agreed to come.

I put down the wood by the areas we'd make fires when I was walking back but I was interrupted. "Doctor playing golf. Whoo! Boy howdy, now I've heard everything, what's next a cop eating a donut" I laughed and smiled at Sawyer. "If you wanna come, just say it" He replied. "Think I'll pass on that, Blondie. Not big on crowds, and let's face it. Crowds not to big and me either."

I smiled and he looked down. I spoke up. "One outcast to another, I'd think about making more of an effort" I started to walk away but still heard him. "Duly noted!" I walked away smiling.

I got back to the golf course or whatever it was to see practically the whole camp there. I walked up to Hurley. "My spot still safe" Hurley laughed and gave me a club. I laughed as I watched him miss. "Aw crap do over!" Charlie replied. "It's a mulligan, it's a gentleman's sport. You got to the words right. Mulligan".

Charlie walked up behind Hurley and I laughed when he freaked out. Hurley missed again and I continued to laugh. It was Charlie's shot, he could make par he was talking about. I looked to see Jack walk up to me. "Whatever happened to common sense?" I laughed. "Well they whole camps here and it's your shot"

He walked up to the clubs and grabbed one. Kate was kneeling down and spoke up. "No pressure" I laughed when Hurley spoke up. "Five bucks says he sinks it" I laughed. Charlie replied. "You betting against me?" Hurley responded. "Sorry dude"

I laughed and moved over to Charlie. I put my arm around his shoulder. "Tough luck man" He smiled. Boone spoke up. "Make it 10 and your on" I looked back and he winked at me making me laugh. Someone spoke up, I think his name was Scott or Steve. "I don't have cash but I'll bet my dinner on the doc"

He pointed at Jack and he pointed back. I heard another voice and everyone turned. "I got two tubes of sunscreen and a flashlight says he chokes" I looked back to see Sawyer standing behind us. I smiled and tilted my head. He looked at me and smiled.

I spoke up. "I'll take that action" He smiled at me again and Boone spoke up. "Yeah, yeah me too." I walked over to Boone and he looked at me. "I take the sunscreen, you take the flashlight" I replied. "Mhmm" I smiled at him and put my arm around him and he laughed.

It was tense but then Jack got it. I walked up to him and gave him a high-five and winked at Boone. About 10 minutes later people started to dwindle and I went back to the beach.

I had fun golfing on a deserted island after our plane crashed how about that.
