At least a tea

I walked down the crowded and narrow hallways hoping to find a restaurant or even a store and luckily I did, but I was really hoping I would have enough money for tea

I saw a store about 10 meters away and walked over. I made my way to the store and walked up to the counter, it had did different donuts, cookies and you name.

"What can I get you" the woman at the counter was very nice unlike most people in my life. "Just a green tea please" the women looked up with a smile on her face "ooh a favourite of mine, it will be 3.99" I smiled back while handing her a 5 dollar bill. I didn't have much money and in my bank account maybe less than 300 dollars and I was used to it, it's the way I lived. After paying and waiting the wait time of about 3 minutes, I started walking to my gate.

I walked up to the gate, suitcase, tea and wallet in close proximity. I was always very aware of my surroundings as I was taught that but maybe a bit better then the average person. I found an empty seat and took it, getting a moment of relaxation until it was gone. I heard a woman and a man arguing and just assumed they had some relationship issues to iron out. The blonde woman started to walk up to me, the brunette male close behind her.

He was average height, handsome and had quite a defined jawline. "Is this the gate for flight 815 to LA?" The woman had an American accent, western with a bit of a southern in it so most likely from the California area. "Yes it is don't worry, your in the right place" The woman let out a relieved sigh. "See Boone, I told you" Boone, quite an interesting name and very uncommon.

"Ya whatever Shannon" The man turned back to me and asked again "Is there a place we could get food or drinks, we've never been in this airport for we're a little lost" He finished his sentence with a laugh. I let out one too while pointing to the store I had just come from "there, that place has candy, chips, gum.

Boone and Shannon returned to the gate about 5 minutes later with a bag or two, very much symboling it was one if not their first time together in Australia. I wondered if they were a couple or even siblings. I would steal a few glances here and there and would sometimes catch Boone looking back at me. Slowly the gate got more and more crowded. Plenty of people, one thing I loved about planes is that with everyone on the plane, you most likely will never see those people ever again after they all leave the airport, the gate agent started calling people to board.

I walked up to the agent, got my ticket and passport scanned and walked into the tunnel or whatever they called it to board the plane. I had absolutely no clue the absolute shitstorm that was about to hit me.

I boarded the plane smiling at gate agents while walking by. My seat was 21b so near by middle, I found my seat already next to it was a man with longer dirty blonde hair, dimples and was a striking man to say the least. I walked up to him and he flashed a smile "hi my seats next to yours ins" he cut me off by moving and letting me pass through "no problem ma'am".

I sat down in my seat and gave the man a smile. I looked at my surroundings, a full plane, plenty of people, plenty of threats. I looked to the other side of the man to see a larger one with brown curly hair reading a comic. About 2 hours into the flight drinks and beverages where being served.

The flight attendants made their rounds and came to my seat. "Hello sir, would you mind a drink?" He asked, the attendant asked the man beside me. "Just a coke would be fine" the attendant smiled and started to pour a his drink. "and what about your wife?" My head turned and the man looked at me. I was wearing my engagement ring but it's always so hard to explain. I started to open my mouth. when the man spoke before me.

"Well sweetheart, what can he get ya" the man had a southern accent most likely Alabama or that area. "same as you" I smiled and the attendant poured my drink. He smiled and went onto the next row. I turned my head to the man who had a smug smile on his face.
"Hey listen it's ok, if your husband's not here or not a good guy, let's just make life simpler for you and plus they'll let us get off faster if we're together" the man replied with a smile. "Is that so" I knew he was trying to be quite smooth and for any normal eye, he would be doing a good job.

"Well unless, you really do got a husband waiting for ya at baggage claim, I'm Sawyer" the man put out his hand and I took it. "I'm Charlotte, and you certainly seem like a gentleman" Sawyer put up a small smile "seem?" Sawyer pretended to act shocked "well I mean your giving the kind of biker gang leader look so I wasn't sure" Both me and Sawyer let out a laugh.

He seemed kind and well he was very handsome as well. "well in that case blondie, maybe I did come from a biker gang" I laughed at the nickname, "nicknames fun, and well I honestly just don't really buy that now" Sawyer smiled and looked at me. "Well good thing I'll never see you again after this flight" the both of us laughed having no clue about the future.
