(17)Custody Court

READ THIS PART, OR YOU MIGHT GET CONFUSED AT ONE PART *I don't know how custody court happens so this is just how I think it goes. Please don't hate on me if it's wrong* COURT DAY!!! Lynn's last name will be Miller, because I don't know Todds last name, so it will be Todd Miller and Lynn Miller*

Ricky's POV

As I wake up I hear my dad talking down the hall. Confused I get out of bed and walk down the hallway too where my dads room is and open the door, too find him tying his tie as he talked too himself in the mirror. Just as I was about too walk back too my room he called my name "Ricky. Hey bud, so as you know you can't be there with us but once court is over an officer will come too the house with both your mom and I. Then they will tell you what the judge decided, now I want you too know what ever is decided I love you." Nodding my head I walk over too my dad fixing part of his tie, trying too give him my best smile. Ruffling my hair he told me too get ready for school so I did, but I was more worried about what the court would say, more then having everything for school. But eventually I got everything in my bag before giving my dad a tight hug and walking out the door.

Riding your skateboard and being deep in thought are not a great combination. As I rode down the side walk I thought about what they would ask my dad, what they would think about him. I mean too people who don't know our life they would probably be concerned why he is at work so constantly, or why I'm always injured. Which the injury's are basically always from skating, and a couple fights I got in protecting my friends. But the judge might not think that, who knows what my mom will say too the judge while in that court room, but as I reached the front of the school I hopped off my skateboard before heading into the school. Just as I was about too head too my first class I feel someone grab my wrist before I'm yanked into a empty class, coming face too face with Ej. Smiling I lean in and kiss him gently on the lips feeling him pull gently on my curls, as I let my smile start too grow bigger as he did this. But just as he wrapped his arm around my waist the bell rang, signaling that we had five minutes till first blocked started. Sighing I escape his grip before I give him a quick peck on the lips and walking off too my first block class.

By the time lunch came around I couldn't think straight. I hadn't gotten any sort of update from my dad since this morning when he told me he had arrived at the court house, which was almost 3 hours ago. So sitting down at the theater lunch table I start too fidget with my fingers, not really paying much mind too what the rest the theater kids were talking about. When I finally actually started paying attention too what they were saying I felt someone tap me on the shoulder. Looking over too my boyfriend who only pointed towards the untouched tray in front of me. I hadn't eaten bleakest before heading too school, and I wasn't really hungry now, too much on my mind. Which he must had understood as he took a fry off my tray before slipping it into his mouth with a smile. Smiling back I let out a small laugh as he continues too eat my fries as we listen too Ashlynn and Gina talk about how its been sharing a room this semester. They told us about all the movies they cried over, and the quite elaborate fort they had made for a "girls night". Then just as Gina was about too start telling us about one of her favorite movies, the bell rang signaling the end of the lunch period. So saying our goodbyes too everyone Ej and I got up, throwing out the rest our trays, basically all of my food, and headed off too our last two classes.

Mike Bowen's POV

"All rise for Judge William's." As we I stood up I looked in front of me too see the judge that would decide how the rest of my sons teen years would be. Sighing I stood up as I listen too the judge explain how court was going too happen, nodding are head we all acknowledge what he said before we began. "I will like each of the legal guardian's too rise and state there names for the purpose of records, then I would like there lawyers too stat the name of the minor too which the legal battle is about, too make sure that everything is in order.
