Oh No He's Hot

Rebecca made her way down the hall to the S.T.A.R.S. office holding a huge stack of papers. Apparently it didn't take long for Wesker to bury in her work. She supposed she didn't mind, the work had to get done somehow, but she couldn't help but think this was some sort of way to get back at her for something she didn't even do.

Balanced on top of the giant stack of papers Rebecca was carrying, was an equally gigantic binder full of more papers. She finally made it to the S.T.A.R.S. office, maneuvering the papers to just one arm, which was quite the feat, and reached for the door knob. Unfortunately her eyesight was blocked nearly entirely because of the paper stack, so she didn't realize the door was opening right toward her. It collided with the papers first, which went flying everywhere, the binder landing on the ground with a hard thud. Rebecca fell backwards and landed with an even harder thud.

"Oh shit! Rebecca, are you okay?" The door smacked against the wall as it fully opened, and Rebecca saw Chris standing in the doorway. Rebecca managed to escape slamming her head against the wall behind her, but she hit her elbows pretty hard. She sat up and rubbed one of them,

   "Fine sir!" Chris exhaled,

"Oh, good, I was worried-" He took a step forward and tripped on the binder. Chris wasn't known to be that clumsy, but he definitely fell forward, putting his hands out to catch himself. He did, right on top of Rebecca. Their faces were incredibly close together. Rebecca felt her face get hot, Chris had a slight blush on his face too,

"...Sorry about that." He said quieter. Rebecca almost forgot to respond,

"I-It's okay..." She nearly whispered. Was it just her or was his face slowly getting closer to hers? His hands were flat on the ground by her hips. It was like they were both in a trance, staring into each other's eyes. Chris' forehead touched hers,

"Chris..." Her voice was barely there.

"Rebecca.." She felt his breath on her face. It was hot. Rebecca put her hands over the backs of his. She didn't think their faces could get any closer until his lips touch hers and she-

   She woke up.

   She woke up?

Rebecca opened her eyes to her dark room. She was curled up in the middle of the bed, wearing the same clothes she had to the bar. She sat up onto her elbow, looking at her clock.

   3 am.

She kicked her shoes off and got back into her comfortable position on the bed. She closed her eyes to go back to sleep. And then she paused and opened her eyes again.

What the heck was she just dreaming about?

She shot upright in her bed.

Was she just dreaming about kissing Chris Redfield?

   Surely not.

Rebecca took a moment to think.

And then she remembered the closeness of their faces, his breath on hers and his lips. She felt a pit in her stomach quite unfamiliar to her, and her face felt hot just like in her dream. Suddenly her clothes were too tight on her body, so she quickly got out of bed to change into something more comfortable. And cool down.

   Forget that dream.

   Most dreams mean nothing Rebecca.

You just had a very overwhelming day, and Chris helped you through it.

Rebecca crawled back into bed and under her blankets. She laid her head on her pillows and closed her eyes. Sleep didn't come. She sighed and turned on her other side. It was surprisingly difficult to push the dream from her mind. Rebecca groaned in frustration, grabbing another pillow and putting it over her head.
