Rebecca slept longer than she anticipated. Way longer. She hadn't even realized how tired she was after the entire ordeal with the train, and Billy. Rebecca forced her eyes open, and the first thing she noticed was how she instantly wanted to close them again. That, and her stiff limbs that were sore from the extended physical activity.

But she remembered where she was. In a strange mansion that possibly housed bio terrors beyond her imagination. So she struggled to stand up, leaning on the wall for support as her body slowly got used to being awake. She looked around the hallway that she had fallen asleep in. It was impressively decorated, the same vibe as the entry hall she had seen when she came in.

She walked down the hall and peeked her head around the corner, keeping a hand on her holstered handgun. She saw a door on the right.

Rebecca reached to open it. She was almost disappointed that the handle turned, her heart beating out of her chest as she pushed the door opened. Another hallway, kind of. It was almost like a small room, with a pillar in the middle of it. She saw another door on the opposite side of the room, and was about to go toward it, until she heard breathing on the other side of the pillar. It was uneven, like someone was hurt. Rebecca felt excitement and anxiety in her chest. A teammate? But if they were hurt that wouldn't be the best situation. She would just have to see.

She slowly made her way to look behind the pillar, she nearly gasped when she saw Richard sitting there, holding his arm in pain. It looked god awful. His arm was discolored, and was now adorned with a huge bite mark. He had lost his vest, and half of his shirt was torn to shreds too. She put her hand over her mouth and dropped to her knees next to him,

"Richard!" He looked surprised and relieved to see her,

"Rebecca. How did you get here?" He could barely get the words out, his face contorted in obvious pain.

"It's a long story. Did something bite you?" She gestured to his arm. Richard managed to nod his head at her,

"A snake... Biggest snake I've ever seen.." He pointed to the door she hadn't come in through,

"Don't... Don't go in there." He tried to joke, laughing a bit and then wincing at the pain it caused. Rebecca smiled sadly at him, letting him lay his head against her lap. She smoothed his hair back, trying to comfort him. Her voice was soft, trying to mimic Jill's motherly nature.

"Edward said you two got separated-" Richard's eyes widened, and nearly lit up, he tried to sit up, only to wince and lay back down,

"He found you?! Where is he now? Is he okay?" He was begging Rebecca for the details. She mentally kicked herself, having completely forgotten about what had happened. She swallowed nervously. How was she supposed to tell him?

"Let me get you bandaged up first." She said with another smile, trying to change the subject as she pulled supplies out of her medpack. Richard looked at her desperately, grabbing onto her arm with his uninjured one.

"Please. I need to know if he's okay." Rebecca remained silent, continuing to get out her medical supplies. She gently grabbed his arm and inspected it. It looked like it wasn't even a part of his body.

"This is going to sting.." She practically whispered, and Richard shut his eyes in anticipation as she started to disinfect the bite. It's a miracle he didn't bite his tongue off, but he grimaced something awful. When she was done she wrapped up his arm, not the best job considering she had limited bandages, and his entire arm was afflicted. He took his position with his head against her lap again, and they looked at each other. An awkward silence filled between them as Richard's burning question about Edward was still in the air. Rebecca sighed,
