So Many Drinks

It was a good thing Forest made it very clear that he was only paying for one round of drinks. Rebecca quickly learned that the S.T.A.R.S. team was clearly under a lot of stress, and their nights out drinking were quite possibly the only time they got to relax. So here they were relaxing. A LOT.

Rebecca kept her word about only having one shot. Well, half of one shot. She couldn't bring herself to finish it. And the rest of the group...?

Jill finished all the drinks she brought over, plus one or two. She was resting her elbow against the table talking to Barry, who hadn't had anything.

"Barry, can you go get me another shot?" She slurred to him. Barry sighed,

"Don't you think you've had enough?" Jill paused, put on a dramatic thinking face, and then smiled like an idiot at Barry, shaking her head,

   "No!"

Richard, and surprisingly Edward had also had a little too much to drink. They were over by an old jukebox on a wall near the table. Richard was practically leaning on Edward, who was trying his best to hold him up. Richard starting pressing buttons on the jukebox,

"How do you use this thing??" Edward rolled his eyes,

"Do you have a quarter?" Richard patted his pockets halfheartedly. He shook his head,

"Uhhh... No." This earned an annoyed groan from Edward, who managed to pull a quarter from his pocket and put it into the jukebox. Richard smacked a button on it and a song started playing,

"Ohhh I love this song! Dance with me Edward!" He attempted to dance which just ended in a lot of stumbling around, and falling into the jukebox.

"Don't break it you drunk asshole!"

   "You're drunk too!"

Rebecca watched them with a slight smile on her face. Those were her coworkers.

On the more relaxed side of things, Forest had pulled up a chair next to Enrico. He was calmly drinking a beer, also watching Richard and Edward. Enrico was talking to him about something, but Forest was too busy watching the two drunk idiots in the corner. He looked vaguely concerned, but didn't do anything about it. Brad was sitting with another drink in his hand, leaning his elbow on the table, resting his cheek against his hand. It wasn't hard to notice he was looking at Jill.

Rebecca didn't even realize that someone had taken the seat next to her.

"Having fun, kid?" A voice said quietly next to her. She whipped her head to the side and saw it was Chris. The 'kid' nickname irked her, but she let it slide. She noticed he hadn't had a lot to drink that night either.

"For sure. This is quite the wild group." Chris chuckled a bit,

"Well you're part of it now." Rebecca smiled at that,

"I can already tell I wouldn't have it any other way." They looked at each other for a while. Chris opened his mouth to say something until Richard came rushing over, slamming his hands against the table,

"How's it going over hereee everyone???" Edward was close behind him, looking at everyone,

"I can barely control him" The rest of the group was looking at them, until a big bright smile appeared on Richard's face. He was looking in the direction of the door, so naturally everyone's heads looked in that direction,

"Marvin! What the hell are you doing here man!" Richard said in utter delight. Marvin chuckled,

"Hope I'm not too late. A little birdie told me you guys were meeting up." He looked at Rebecca with a grin.
