All written notes in brackets (My note) are just my additional notes of how I exactly react in that situation. I hope it doesn't take away your enjoyment in reading the chapters!
If you noticed, there were no (My notes) in chapter 11 and 11.5. That was because of I, coincidentally, have the exact same reaction with the characters in game. Also, I was caught up in the emotional drama.
From the moment MC decided to part way with Masaya in Chapter 9, tears hasn't stop falling from my eyes. Right that moment onwards, every time someone mentions Masaya, I cried. I cried, cried a lot. It hinders my typing. I could not even type properly. I could not bring myself to type the dialogue and the scene. It was too painful for me.
When Masaya said he purposely changed the location of his coffee beans because MC can't reach it in Chapter 11.5, I totally lost it. I sobbed ugly. I broke down into tears. I just can't take it.
This is my fifth time playing this route after uninstalling the original game around 5 years, and yet, it hits me as if I didn't know what is going to happen. Even though I know it will end well, it still hits me hard. As if I was pierced by a knife in the heart, the pain won't go away. Instead, it deepens the wound...
I can truly see that both Masaya and MC love each other so much that it hurts.

You know, I was writing a fanfiction of Masaya x Kana but this time, Kana is based heavily from myself in real life which is pretty similar with Masaya's personality. I thought I wanted to write a stronger love story between them but when I finished the game, I don't think my fanfiction can top it. I mean, the bond between MC and Masaya in the game is seriously something else.
It's not something I can top it off with just another love story. I need to have a carefully written dialogues that will move people's hearts and a character that will truly catch Masaya's attention.
That being said, I actually, have finished writing the fanfiction:
---
In another world where MC and Masaya doesn't meet as lovers... This time, MC resolves her misunderstanding with Mitsui Keita and so, are still dating him. Hence, she was with Keita most of the time. When she met Masaya who accidentally pours coffee on her, she was walking with Keita. This way, Masaya will not fall in love at first sight with MC.
Then, the female lead, Kana Miura was picked by Kisaragi by chance to play the role as Masaya's fake wife. However, this time, Kana wanted to make a good use of the contract for her own benefits and so, doesn't run away from the wedding ceremony, and instead she participated actively in the meeting with Wedding Marriage, the company where MC is working. Therefore, the event of the first meeting which Masaya didn't attend, didn't upset MC because the bride, Kana was there, with Kisaragi as the representative of Masaya.
And so, the dynamic between Kana, a fake bride who is taking advantage of the contract, and Masaya, the desperate executive who wants to get married had been going on well. This time, Kana is throwing Masaya off because she casually flirts with him and teases Masaya a lot. Masaya at first, thought Kana was tough but she also blushes and flutters when he teases her back. It's the relationship which both keep on teasing each other, not the way that they were fighting for dominant or leadership, but the type that seems compatible with each other as a 'partner-in-crime' kind of relationship.
Koki doesn't have any thing to spill the tea about the fake marriage because Kana, is always taking the initiative in the relationship even though they were alone, as if they are married for real. It does upsets Masaya sometimes because he doesn't like such girl, but because of their deal, he can't reject her as well. Kana is also someone who is by nature, street smart, book smart, strong-will and have a heart made of iron. Therefore, Koki can't trick her. She can tell from Koki's body language that he meant ill of her.
The drama started when Masaya discovers the true reason of why Kana wanted to take advantage of the contracts. It had some shady reasons. It has to be shady LOL. Nah, just kidding. I said before that I based Kana off from myself. I admit that I am indeed a bit manipulative, but rest assured, I won't do anything that do not abide the law. Let's just say there is a deeper meaning behind it and it shocked Masaya so much.
At the same time, Masaya discovers that he once had a promise with a certain girl in his childhood, who turns out to be MC. Masaya then realizes that he only cherishes that girl as a friend. After all, MC was dating with Keita, it's not like he can do anything about it. But he doesn't get jealous too. They both casually supports each other as a long-lost-friend. Keita was surprised and got jealous though...
However, at this crucial time, there is only one person who is renting free on his mind, Kana Miura. He wants to solve the issue of that 'shady' reason of Kana and decides that he wants to meet her once again.
What is the shady reason? Can they make up their relationship? Where did Kana go? Why Masaya is searching for her, as if she has ran? Where is she?
...
Feel free to make up the rest of the story in your mind :)
What do you think? Will this couple succeed in their love story?
I tried my best to avoid Masaya from falling in love with MC, despite I keep her character in my fanfiction. Then, I want to have a completely different personality for the female lead!
