"D-dad..." Gumaralgal ang boses niya ng makita ang Daddy na nakaratay sa ICU.

For years, she thought her father died. The death of his father caused chaos on her life...but knowing that his alive but barely survived, she doesn't know what to feel.

"I-i don't know. The accident was planned, that's for sure. Kaya wala akong pinagsabihan dahil natatakot akong malaman ng may gawa 'nun sa Daddy mo. He was barely surviving. He fell into coma for half a year, then he gain back his consciousness but wasn't healed yet. Malaki ang epekto 'nun sa kanyang utak kaya nahihirapan ang mga doktor na pagalingin siya. For years, he's conscious but can't move. Inoperahan siya ulit 'nung nakaraang buwan but he fell into coma again. Nauubos na ang pera...that's why I came out with the idea of...o-of..oh, God. Forgive me, I'm such a selfish mother." Humagulhol ang ina niya habang siya ay tahimik lamang na umiiyak habang nakatingin sa ama.

"I-i...I vowed that I only entertain your Dad for the rest of my life. I'm so selfish that I used you to get money but swear, I was always there watching you talking to those men. I always make sure that they won't touch you in any way until that old man who tried but failed anyway."

"Kailangan na kailangan ng gamot ang Daddy mo, that's why in anyway I could find money, I always grabbed the opportunity. E-even...even carrying a child that is not yours..."

Tumiim ang bagang niya at napakuyom ang kamao.

"The child is mine, Mama. Ako ang ina niya. Biologically or surrogacy." Mariing saad niya.

"I could be like you, if the situation happens to my son. Kaya kong isangla ang buhay ko para matubos ang buhay ng anak ko." She said.

Natigilan ang ina niya saka malungkot na ngumiti.
Muli itong nag-angat ng tingin sa kanya at kita niya ang kislap sa mga mata nito.

"I'm so proud of you, Clea. K-kahit...kahit hindi ako naging mabuting ina, naging mabuti pa rin ang puso mo. Your Dad will be very happy seeing what you have become---"

"Become what? I'm not successful as Chloe, I don't have money like Ivy. Now, tell me. Is there something that can be proud of me?" She asked painfully.

Napaawang ang labi nito sa gulat.

"Clea, you may not become the lady boss nor unlimited money but you have the bravery and kindness that the people who loves you are proud of that. Chloe may have everything and Ivy, but you are the daughter that we wanted, you are the mother that your child needed and you are...the girl that your man can be proud of."

"A-am I?"

Her mother held her face and smiled with a tears.

"The only think that stop yourself from healing is not finding your self worth. Don't just learn to heal...learn to love yourself."

Her lips tremble as tears exaggeratedly exited her eyes.

Niyakap niya ang ina, dinaman niya ang yakap nito.

"P-patawarin mo si Mama, anak. I just can't lose your father."

"A-ayaw ko ring mawala si Daddy. I'll do everything to keep him alive."
