Chapter 12

Kian's POV

I am on the way to their mansion today. It is Saturday morning and I'll be spending my lunch and dinner with them. I brought three bouquets. I never thought that courting Ira will make me this cheesy.

Ira asked for my car model and plate number so he can register it in the guardhouse. It must be effective because they opened the gate right away when they saw my car. I stopped the car again as soon as I passed the gate so they can park it. Their mansion is so huge that it's hard to locate where is their parking lot.

Jeha welcomed me and asked me to wait in the living room.

"Three flowers for the triplets?" Jeha asked.

"Nope," I answered instantly.

I am so nervous walking to the main house. I am holding the three flowers in my arms.

"Need help?" Jeha asked again.

I must be kind to him. He is important to Ira.

"No, thanks."

We can hear Candy's voice already from where we are.

"Kian!!! Are you selling flowers?" She ran to me and hug my thigh.

"I am not but this beautiful sunflower is for you, little lady." She smelled it hugged the flower.

"You are not going to court me, right? Can you wait for at least....." She stopped and count with her fingers.
"Jeha can I borrow your hands? I have only twenty here."
She continues counting with Jeha's fingers too. "21, 22, 23, 24, 25,26... You need to at least wait for 26 years to court me. Daddy said I can have a boyfriend when I'm 30."

"Wow, that's so long. Then can I court Ira first?" I asked her.

"You can, but I don't think Ira will like you." Ouch... "Someone is courting him already."

"Who?"

"You know Drew? He is courting Ira too." Candy said.

"No, I am the one courting Ira."

"No, Drew gave me this because he said he likes Ira." She showed me a paper with probably Drew's drawing.

I was about to defend my position when the guards salute to someone at the back.

What the hell?

When I turned around, I saw a handsome old guy walking towards us.

"Papa!" Candy ran to him.

He is familiar though. I forgot again where did I see him. He was holding a dagger so he kept it on his back when Candy hugged him.

"Good morning, sir. I am here for Ira."
He looks calm but I can't explain why I feel nervous around him. Because of the dagger? I am not sure.

"Perfect. Follow me in the headquarter." He looked at Candy.
"Baby, if Ira searched for his guest. Tell him I brought his guest to the headquarter."

What headquarter?

I just followed him since Jeha also motioned me to come with the old man.

I entered the huge room and saw a prison cell.

He sat on the huge table and asked me to sit on the chair in front of the desk.

"I forgot to introduce myself, I am Kai Suppasit." He smiled at me for the first time. "The cell you are seeing is for those who tried to harm this family. That's just a temporary place for interrogation though before handing them to the police."
