Chapter 48

Kian's POV

I was late for the band meeting since Ira wouldn't let go of me earlier. He slept on top of me and warned me that he would ignore me if I left. So I ended up  45 minutes late in our afternoon meeting today.

"I am sorry. I was so busy yesterday. I wasn't able to have enough sleep."

Steph is looking at me from head to toe. "Or Ira ride you nonstop and tied you on the bed?" He is mocking my boyfriend, and I wouldn't say I like his tone.
I punched him in the face.

"What the fuck, Kian. Tell me, am I wrong?" Steph grabbed my collar too.
"That is why you can't concentrate because you are always Ira don't want...Ira said... Ira told me... Get a life, dude. Ira is controlling you. He is so clingy." Our manager is already asking him to shut up because I am so pissed right now.

"Do you think I didn't notice that you want me to break up with Ira? I know it, Steph. I am not dumb. Why are you so affected by Ira being clingy to me? Do you truly hate it, or are you just jealous because you want my boyfriend to be like that to you? That is why you never have a chance to court him because you are a loser."
I am just letting him before because Steph is my friend, and I know he was hurt when Ira said no to him. I felt guilty somehow, too, for courting Ira when I knew my friend liked him. Steph likes him a lot. That is why I am trying to hold my anger when he is saying bad things about Ira. But this is too much anymore. As I said before, I will always be a willing victim for him. Ira can control me all he wants.

Let me just finish this first album, and I will quit and come with Ira to Australia. I know how Ira wants to continue studying, but I am stopping him because of my dream.
I don't want to be famous. It's never my goal. I worked hard for these songs. I just want people to hear it and appreciate it because Ira is always my inspiration in writing these. It's a song about how special my Ira is to me. He is my happiness and all.

"I am just saying what I have observed. Look at what happened to Ara." Steph fucking wants to die.

"Shut up, Steph. You are crossing the line. Whatever or however Ira treats me; you don't need to care about that. I am happy."

"Happy? Okay. I've known you for years, and I know how much you've changed after being in a relationship with Ira. You can't even focus on the band. Don't you think you are quite unfair?" Steph yelled.

"Then let me quit. I don't need you to finish my songs. I need to go."
I looked at our manager. "I'll message you."

I need to go back to the mansion. I am so depressed, and I need Ira to help me relax. This band is so important to me.

The gate opened widely. I gave the key to Emerson for him to park it.
Drew is staring at me as if I did something wrong. My blood is boiling already with Steph. Then here's another guy who I loathe the most.

"Problem?" I asked him.

"You are not good for him." Is he really serious about telling me this?
"Ira is such a great boyfriend, and you don't deserve being with him. What happened to Ira is because of your fault. You could have controlled that Ara. It would be best if you had acted better. It would help if you protected him more. I hope Ira found someone deserving of his precious love." Drew told me without stuttering.

"Who deserves him? You?" I laughed.

"Anyone except you. It doesn't need to be me. I hope he falls for another guy. I hope he breaks up with you. Remember that many are dreaming of your position right now.
If you cannot take care of Ira, many can. They are just waiting for you to disappear."

Why can't I talk back? He is knocking some sense to me.

Jeha tapped my shoulder. "Don't worry. Drew is just not in the mood since that broadcast yesterday. He was so pissed about what happened."
