Chapter 8

Kian's POV

Woah...I finished two glasses of water after that call.
Miracle must be thinking that I am a dick.

Think again, Kian! What are you going to say to his dad?

Damn! I can't sleep. We've been schoolmates for more than three years already but this is the first time I've got the courage to talk to him like that. I mean, Miracle Kirigun looks so expensive. We may be rich too but the Kiriguns are on a different level. He is very intimidating. Every time I hear his soft voice, damn, I am losing it. I like Ira, I like how sweet he is to his family, for sure he'll be a good boyfriend too.

What am I doing here smiling alone like a fool? Oh my gosh, Miracle! What are you doing to me?

I woke up early to prepare for the battle later. I am going to meet him again, I should look good.

I am working out here alone at my terrace. I have my own condo unit but I still go home at least twice a week. Our home is near the Kirigun mansion so I'll probably stay at our place more often now.

It would be easier if he is not surrounded always by his guard and his two brothers.

I messaged him that I'll go to their place after lunch.

"Tell Yohan and meet him first. Don't tell them that you are going to visit me." He replied.

I messaged his brother and told him that I am bored so I'll hang out at their mansion. He said feel free.

I need to have a plan on how to tell his brothers without being shoot by the guards straight to the head.

I am driving my car and now in front of their gate but fucking Yohan is not answering my call. He didn't even inform the guards that I am coming. They are not letting me enter. They already saw me yesterday here but they are requiring a go signal from any of the members of the family. I need an appointment. Should I tell them that I am here to court Ira?

Minutes have passed already and I am still trying to call Yohan.
One tall guard went out to check on me. I know him. He is Ira's guard.

"Sorry for waiting." He apologized.
He motioned the guards to open the gate for me.

Hell. They allowed me to enter at last. The guards asked me to stop the car when I passed the gate so they can park it in the correct spot. They are so strict.

"Are you here for Ira?" His bodyguard asked me.

"You can say that. Where is he?"

"He is with Candy. Follow me."
He brought me to an outdoor play area. I saw him playing Kinetic sand with his sister.

"Hi, Candy." The little girl excitedly ran to me and hugged my thigh.
"What are you playing?"

"I am playing with Ira. You want to play with us?"

"Sure, I'll be happy to play with a pretty girl like you."

"But you can't have a crush on me, okay? Dad will be mad. Do you get it?"
She asked me.

"I'll remember that but what if I'll have a crush on Ira, will your dad be mad too?" I asked her.

"Kian!!!" He called my name out loud. It was like music to my ears.

"Yes, Miracle?"

"Don't say that to Candy. My sister is like a parrot. She'll expose it to dad."

"Better then, at least she can say it on my behalf." I laughed when I saw Ira's face. Ira is burning red. He really is cute. He needs to be mine. I want him.

I just sat with them and played with Candy.

"Mommy!" Candy shouted when she saw his mom walking. 

"Yes, honey?" His mom smiled when he saw me.

"Kian has a crush on Ira." She announced. I saw his mom's main bodyguard walked towards us too when he heard Candy.

"Mom, Candy is just joking around. I'll call Yohan. Kian is here for Yohan."
He is in panic mode.

"Kian, you said it earlier, right? Tell mommy that Candy is not lying."
The little girl is about to cry now.
"Daddy said I can't lie. Ira is bad!"

"Hi, sir." I stood up and do the proper wai to greet him and the bodyguard which is as far as I remember is Ira's uncle too.
I looked at Candy. "Don't cry, pretty girl. You are not lying. Candy is saying the truth. Kian likes..."

"Kian likes bad Ira." I think she is sulking at her old brother.

"Oh my gosh, I am going back to my room." Ira exclaimed. "Kian, just wait for Yohan in the living room, I'll call him for you."

"I clearly told you that I am here to visit you." I wonder what is his mom thinking. He's just looking at us like he is watching a TV series.

"Sweetie, Ira, he is here to visit you, why don't you bring him to the living room or in the recreational room so you can have fun? Don't worry about your dad. I'll ask Yohan and Ice to clean the third floor too, you are exempted in your chores today." Sir Miles held Candy's hand and pulled her away from us.

"Thank you, sir." It's not obvious that I am excited.

He brought me to a room full of games machine you'll always find in an arcade.
"Uhm, we have it here because I don't usually go to the mall. I just play with my brothers here before. My life is boring. School-mansion-hospital, these are only my destination always."

"Don't worry, it will not be boring now. How about we add my house to your usual destinations?"

"Kian!!!"

"What's wrong? I am just suggesting here." I can't help but stare at his face.
"You are so beautiful up close."

"Stop that." He said timidly.
"You are good at this. You must have said this line multiple times already." He lowered his head.

"Trust me, I am not used to this. I am just appreciating what I am seeing and my eyes are telling me that you really look good...very beautiful" I touched his cheeks and he flinched.

"Thank you." His focus is on the claw machine. "I mastered this already. I'll give you a gift. Choose." There are plenty of stuffed toys there with different sizes.

"The panda. I want the small one." I asked him. Miracle will be giving me a gift again. I am so honored.

I saw his fast hands expertly controlling the claw to move to his target-- the small panda. He got it on the first try and handed it to me.
"See that?" He bragged then winked at me. Miracle just fucking winked at me. Damn.

"I love it. I will keep it safe."

He let me try too but I think this claw machine is biased. We were just laughing when the door opened.
It was the younger guy from yesterday.

"Ira! I am right, you are here. I came with dad. He is on the evening shift. I'll stay in the gazebo tonight."
He looked at me and offered his hand.
"I am Drew."

"Kian."

"Yeah, Yohan's friend. I saw you yesterday." The annoying brat said.

"Ira's suitor too," I added.
