Wyeth's POV

It's been morning and my head kept on thinking on how to solve my problem with Eula.

Ang pinaka hindi ko maintindihan sa sarili ko ay kung bakit ayokong maapektuhan ang samahan naming dalawa. I've been used losing friends because of the reason of they are using me and my family for their own benefit.

But I am feeling this fear of losing Eula. What we have is different. I am so sure that she's different and she's not like my past friends.

Sigurado akong hindi siya mangagamit at manloloko. Siguradong-sigurado ako kaya kinakatakot kong mawala ang kung ano mang meron kami.

Gaya ng nakagawian ko tuwing umaga, naglilibot-libot ako sa lahat ng opisina sa kompanya ko ng magring ang cellphone ko. Habang nag-oocular inspection, sinagot ko ang tawag.

"Hello."

"What is this mess Alvin Wyeth? Bakit bigla ka na lang nagfifile ng leave? Bakit ngayon pa kung kailan ilalaunch ang mga pinakabagong set ng sports cars na ilalabas this spring? I need an acceptable reason Alvin Wyeth. Report in my office now." He then dropped the call.

I heavily sighed. Receiving that call from the chairman of the Santillan Group of Companies wasn't my dream before and one thing I wouldn't wish to happen.

But hell yeah, it's happening to me right now.

"Cancel all my appointments Yna. Magrereport ako sa head office. Kapag may naghanap, tell them na may urgent meeting ako with my dad."

"Yes sir." Yna

I rode the elevator on my way to my office to grab my keys then proceed to the parking area. I was on my car when my phone rang again.

"Hello?"

"Oppa!" My senses was awakened by her loud voice.

"Eula! What's up?" Hindi ko maipaliwanag pero sa tuwing nakikipag-usap ako sa kanya, mas lalo akong kinakabahan at natatakot.

"What's down oppa?" She chuckled on the other line. "Anyway oppa, may good news ako!"

"What is it?" Kahit na hindi niya ako nakikita, napapakunot ang noo ko.

"I just got a call from Santillan Motors and Automotives! They are asking me to do an interview with them tomorrow! Ang saya lang oppa!" Thank God i'm not yet driving! I could have stepped on the brake hard.

But what the hell? Tandang-tanda ko pang inalis ko sa folder ang application form niya! Paano nangyaring tinawagan pa rin siya ng company para mainterview?!

"C-congrats Eula! So manlilibre ka ba?" The heck! I'm stuttering because i'm nervous!

"Haha. Oppa. Iinterviewhin pa lang. Hindi pa tanggap. Kalma lang. Sabik ka ata masyadong magpalibre eh."

"O-of course! Minsan ka lang manlilibre. First time kong maeexperience yun."

"Oppa, never expect too much kapag nanlibre ako. Isaw at tenga ng baboy lang ang afford ko. In short, street foods."

"Call! No problem to me. Good luck sa interview Eula." I do hope you won't pass though.

"Thanks oppa! Balitaan na lang kita ha?"

"Yeah."

Pagkababa niya ng tawag, nablangko na naman ang isip ko. Hindi ko na alam at parang pinaglalaruan kaming dalawa ng tadhana.

Fvck! So much for this. I have to face my tiger dad to explain my sudden leave.

After an hour of drive, I arrived at the main building of SGC. I proceeded to the chairman's office which is located at the topmost floor of this building. When I entered dad's office, I was shocked to see that I wasn't the only one who has been called. I sat beside them then quietly waited for the cue to start this sudden meeting.
