"Hey." I say to my best friend Ally , sitting adjacent to me in the cream painted cafeteria.

"Hey, Gemma. What's up?" She asks pursing her lips.

"Just came from social studies, Mr Joseph is not happy with me." I say , widening my eyes.

"How could he be happy with you, you attended every class yet when it comes submitting assignments,  you're the last person. Even I submitted that assignment. " She says then grabs a slice of pizza ,to stifle the laughter that's brewing inside her in reply to the face I'm making.

As we continues chewing her laugh down , we hear even louder laughs booming from the back of the cafeteria.  It's the football team .

We all know what that means .

Soon enough a shadow is towering over me and then slide onto the seat next Ally.

"Hey baby." Alison says to her boyfriend,  Colt .

"Apple pie." He replies , bitting her nose . I watch the two literally eating each other's faces . I loudly gag.

"Oh hey , Gemima." Colt says to me. A tight lip forms on my lip.

"Colt." I say nodding to him. And he smiles back.

"Tell Gemma that she needs to get a boyfriend ." Ally mocks .

"Yea Gemma , unless you enjoy watching us." He says , smooching Alison's face .

"Wouldn't anyone enjoy watching us?" She asks biting his nose again.

"Nobody would enjoy watching that." I stand , laughing a bit when they both burst out laughing.

"I'm gonna head to the bathroom." I mumble to my self .

Ever been through the pain of being the one friend who is not dating? Yep , that's me . Since freshman year high school , I have never had a boyfriend . And now? I'm doing my sophomore year in the West Virginia University.

The school is great , and I'm majoring in interior design. Both my parents live in Charlotte,  North Carolina. And they own coffee shops around the United States. The biggest and most mordern being the one in New York,  courtesy of me : the interior designer.

I hit a big all of something . And when I finally look up,  I'm met with a broad chest .

"What are you staring at that is more important than where you're going?" He asks .

I tilt my head a little higher , and am met with a very handsome young man. A lite stubble under his chin and a little over his neck. And ocean blue eyes.

His hair is brown and messy. He looks like he's just woken up , his features are very angry and his lips are just to die for.

"Are you done staring creepo?" He says.

I look at him , and something about him pisses me off .

"I was thinking about some stuff , and if you saw me not looking my way , you could have avoided bumping into me like the rest of the people here. And I am not a creepo. " I say then push past him.

When I look back , he's staring at me in interest , what a creep . And he had the gut to call me a creep.

In the bathroom , I find a couple of girls dabbing make up on their faces , and it makes me question whether I'm supposed to be dabbing some on me too.

It's not that I'm giving in to peer pressure , I just wonder if I'm teenaging correctly , if you get me.

I've had a few slip ups like everyone . Snuck alcohol in school. A few puffs of weed . And so forth , but I never attempted the whole make up thing.
