True to his words. Nathan bought me an outfit to wear to the ball. I was given a strict no peeping policy.

Arraine was not helping at all, the entire week telling me how much I'm going to love the dress. How magical and unbelievable it looks.

I wanted to peep so bad but I was under the Meyer/Summer pink promise oath. Or as Nathan so childishly put it MSPPO.

"I'll see you tonight at the ball. It'll be hard not to." Arraine says winking.

I groan,  but it is somewhat a happy one because I'm finally going to see the dress.

Gary, the new driver, is parked outside as he is waiting for me.

"Afternoon miss." He greets as he opens the door to the BMW for me.

"Afternoon Gary." I greet back.

He begins the drive.

"Did the miss have a good day?" He asks. I have no idea why he speaks like this either.

"I had a productive day. How about you?" I ask the middle aged man.

"I had a splendid day. And I hope it gets better. My daughter is coming home for the weekend. I havent seen her in six months since she left for Singapore.  Oh, pardon my oversharing madam." He stops himself.

I watch his half bald head move as he speaks, and the unmistakable smile that I can hear from his words.

"Oh no. Its alright Gary. And please, call me Gemma or Gemima." I tell him. He nods.

I'm home before I know it.

I take a shower quickly and change into Nathan's jogger and a black t shirt I found in his drawers.

Charlotte steals me to her room and begins doing my hair.

"My brother will be here in an hour. He'll shower then you're leaving." She says patting my head.

"Okay. So why are you doing my hair now?" I ask her. She smiles but doesnt say anything.

After what feels like years, I finally understand why she wanted to start so early.

She is still no where near what she defines as 'done' .

Her brother is now showering.

"Okay. Now I need you to go over to the guest bedroom on the left next to the bathroom. Its four doors down from Nathan's office." She says.

And I do just that.

I walk into the bedroom and the first thing I see is a note. With the letters Gemima written boldly in cursive.

I open the note.

In the bathroom you will find all that you will need to join me at this ball tonight sun flower. Do what you do best.

I smile and I proceed to the bathroom.

On the vanity is a large black box. With a huge Versace sign ontop.

He bought me a Versace dress?

Another note is found laying ontop of the dress.

Sun flower.

I know you're probably freaking out because you despise it when I buy you things. Let alone expensive things. Please accept this dress. Along with the rest of the things in the closer.
