~Unplugged & Going Home~

~Randy's POV~

Today's the day that the doctors take Jamie off the machines. At the moment I'm just hoping that she wakes up and doesn't leave me here. At the same time though, I know that she's more than likely suffering. I just want her to be happy, and I know that she's not happy being hooked up to machines. I looked at her body as tears came to my eyes, I took her hand in mine.

"Hey love, I don't know if you can hear me, but if you can please come back to me. Please make me the happiest man on earth, I need you, please, come back to me love."

Just then the doctor came in and I kept Jamie's hand in mine. They started shutting off the machines except for the heart monitor.

~Jamie's POV~

According to Randy today's the day that they turn off the machines and let me go.

I laid there before I felt someone's hand in mine.

"Hey love, I don't know if you can hear me, but if you can please come back to me. Please make me the happiest man on earth, I need you, please, come back to me love."

Not even a moment later the door opened and I started to feel the machines shutting off. The room went kinda silent, but the one thing that I never felt was Randy's hand leave mine. I laid there with his tears landing on my arm, I could feel myself slipping away. The next thing I knew I was blinded by a bright white light and then familiar voices.

~In The Bright Light~

"Hey sweetheart."

I turned around to see my mom and dad standing there, I ran into their arms with tears in my eyes.

"I've missed you so much, a lot has changed since you left me."

My mom looked at me.

"I know sweetheart, but we're not the only ones who want to see you, and we've grown quite fond of her since she joined us."

I turned around to see Angie standing there with a small sad smile, I ran into her arms and held her close, she pulled away.

"I'm so sorry Jamie, if I would've known that any of this would've happened I never would've brought you home. I would've let another loving family adopt you, I'm so sorry sweetie, you deserved so much better."

I looked at her like she was crazy.

"No, no, Angie, you saved my life, it's because of you that I lived as long as I did. I love you Angie, you were the best adopted mom a child or girl could've ever asked for."

I gave her another hug before looking at my parents.

"So where are we going?"

My parents looked at each other, then they looked at Angie and my mom stepped forward.

"Well, sweetheart, don't you want to go back, to your friends, to Randy?"

I looked at my hand and realized that I could still feel his hand in mine, I looked at my parents with tears in my eyes.

"I love you guys so so much, and I'm so happy that I got to see you all one last time, but there's a man holding my hand that I'm pretty sure I'm in love with. I have to get back to him before I completely break his heart, I love you all."

I gave them one last hug.

~Reality~

I then felt the air rush back to my lungs and I sat up in a hurry, only to have pain rush to my abdomen. I laid back down and my eyes opened adjusting to the lights. I then looked to my side to see that Randy was next to the door looking at me with wide eyes. He called for a doctor and ran to me, I smiled at him before he placed his lips to mine, when he pulled away he held my face.
