Epilogue

Fayn's eyes slowly opened, and he was in a chair. The room was bare bones, with concrete unpainted walls. He got up, his legs weak as he nearly stumbled. He saw a faint purple glow. It was coming from a  door at the end of the hallway. He slowly made his way, leaning on a wall for support. He made it through the door and looked to his right, only to get immedietly punched to the ground. He looked up and saw a single yellow eye in the darkness. There was something glowing bright purple under it "Where am I?" Fayn asked.
"That does not matter Fayn. You remember when the war had started and Arnec left you to die?"
"What!? He didn't... There was... No way he could have gotten to me." Fayn said, growling. The figure chuckled before a gloved hand passed a ruby to him "Hold it, let it show you the truth. Arnec could have saved you, he had the strength... He just chose not to." the voice said. Fayn had no choice and grabbed the ruby. His mind flashed as the ruby disappeared. Fayn got onto all fours and growled "What did... You do to me!? You know who I am!? My father, was the most powerful demon to ever live!"
"Which is why you are perfect for my needs. The doctor is dead, Zero is dead. But with you and me... Infinite lives on..." the voice said before stepping forward, revealing a ghostlike Infinite! He looked like Infinite, except made from red and purple smoke "I am the mind, you are the blade. Together, we are truly Infinite. Well, Zero lived up to his name at least... But you... You have anger that has been untapped. Working together, we can have this entire realm to ourselves. You could surpass your father, and your brother!"
"That's... Not what I want!" Fayn yelled, growling in fury. Infinite chuckled "That's not what you want? Am I supposed to care about your feelings? I guess I'll have to take more direct measures. Assuming control."
Fayn howled in pain as the world got blurrier. There was red lightning as he flashed in and out of his demon form. "Hmph... Didn't do it hard enough. You are a strong one..." Infinite said before doing it again. Fayn roared like a demon as the world faded to black. His eyes opened, but he could not see. For him, he was still unconscious. Infinite meanwhile had taken control of him. Two fangs grew from his mouth and his eyes turned reddish purple. The ruby slid to his chest, glowing a familiar red and purple. Infinite disappeared and Fayn walked out, revealing that he had been in a bunker. He smiled "Alright Arnec, you had your fun... Now it's time for my revenge... Get ready brother, for the storm is approaching...." he said before laughing exceedingly.
