Chapter 16: Lupin

####### Lupin's POV #######

I couldn't believe our wolves had called us to join a pack. We hadn't been in a pack for years!

Who cares if this wolf is better, it will probably be snobby and think they are great!

But as we drew closer, to the place the wolves had told us to go, I could feel the presence of a powerful wolf a street away... The closer we got, the more I wanted to be in this wolfs pack, looking at the others it was clear they felt it too. Also the more I wanted to show respect. Not like being in a normal pack, where you are forced to respecting your Alpha... This presence made you want to respect them.

At the front door, we knocked.

Waiting, we would all day if we had to, we knew the wolf was in there.

When the door finally did open, I could tell that Steve, Barry and Jake were all shocked it was a female, but Chloe I could tell was silently pleased.

In shock we all stood there staring, it felt like we were in royalty's presence and I actually felt like bowing.

Until Steve, explained briefly why we were here, when she wouldn't let us in. She was definalty Alpha material, she wouldn't be a good Alpha if she let strangers into her place. She was cautious and suspicious good qualities, and did I mention beautiful.

Once inside, I took the pleasure of telling this amazing shewolf, why we were here, I just felt like I had to do something. When I finished she looked quite pale, and I instantly thought I must have said something wrong, I was just about to apologize when a growl from the doorway grabbed all of our attention.

Hey this was Elliot, and the way he looked at the shewolf then, I could tell they were soulmates.

I was stunned as the shewolf started to sway and fell... into Elliot's arms as he rushed over in wolf speed and caught her.

Oh no! What was going to happen now? Had I caused this?

We rushed after him in wolf speed as he sped towards the nearest hospital with the shewolf in his arms held like a baby, her head lolling over his arm. At our speed it was quicker to just run.

We followed in quick pursuit as human bystanders gaped at us as we passed, in seconds to them just a blur.

Arriving in the hospital, as Elliot rushed to a doctor, I looked into his eyes the pain there was excruciating, it hurt to just look at those eyes, so I just I looked away.

Elliot managed to find the werewolf doctor, who was situated in the normal hospital but could treat both human and werewolf, obviously this was kept secret from everyone except fellow werewolves.

Elliot paced back and forth whilst they did tests on the shewolf, - I hadn't even managed to get her name.

Elliot was suddely gone in a blur, following his scent left behind, we found him in a private hospital room.

Holding his mates hand and he was silently crying tears of immense pain.

I also found myself crying, my natural instinct was to protect her, but I may have caused this... how I do not know!

I looked over at my four companions to find them all but Jake who just looked sad, were also crying.

I joined Mindlinks with them and told them 'We need to be strong for the Shewolf and Elliot her mate!'

They all nodded and mopped up their tears and went to comfort Elliot, we all knew Elliot, he helped us escape from hunters a few years back, and he tried to get us to join his pack then. But we turned it down, promising not to cause trouble. Looks like we may be joining his pack now anyway.

I silently prayed to the high spirits.

'Let the shewolf be okay,' I just repeated over and over.
