###### Alpha Ron's POV ######
Over these past few months, I have tried to keep my pack together and strong. But everyone had heard that royal howl and didn't want to be part of our pack, because our pack was on the target list.
Some had slipped away in the night, but it was their own loss. Now they had no pack.
With our resources left we prepared for an attack.
We could probably hold them off for about an hour if their wasn't many of them. Then we just plead innocence and hope for the best.
Today we were going to do attacking practice. We had to be prepared for anything. I made my way down to the large open arena which was packed with wolves both male and female.
They were getting good. If everything went pear shaped then some of the women were going to sneak the children away. What the pack didn't know was, that I would also be sneaking away. Nobody would know until I was well away. I had arranged to join another pack further in the woods my wife and daughter coming with me.
Thinking of Kellie, made me think of Marley. The dissapointment. I suppose I was a bit hard on her when she was here. I didn't think she was clever enough to get away though, she hadn't been to school since she was twelve. She was bound to be dumb. Probably not even clever enough to have survived without the pack for this long.
Turning back inside, my little sweetheart; Kellie was sat at our pack house kitchen table, probably doing homework. Now she was a model daughter, I started the kettle as I ruffled her hair.
She looked up at me, and gave me a sad smile.
'What's wrong?' I asked,
'Where is Marley?' Kellie asked getting instantly to the point.
'She has gone.' I stated.
Her face fell and the sadness in her eyes were unmistakable, why was she so bothered? Nobody else missed her.
I huffed out of that room and made my way to my room, only to find my wife Anna crying into her hands on the bed. What is wrong with everyone today?
'What's Wrong?' I asked for the second time to today, this time a little more impatient.
Anna looked quickly up and attempted to wipe her tears away with her hand, and dry her face with the end of her woolly jumper.
'Nothing!' She replied hastily.
As I am her mate, I just read her mind instead.
What I found annoyed me.
'Your crying because of MARLEY!!?'
I yelled.
She flinched, and just said, 'W-we should of treated her better Ron.'
'She was failure to out family. An embarassment. She couldn't even shift. You cannot be an Alpha's daughter if you cannot shift!' I exclaimed! Why did nobody get this?
I marched out of their and straight towards the woods.
I was suprised to see Beta John run up to me. 'Sir, the woods aren't safe.'
'What do you mean?' I snapped.
'There were reports from other packs at the meeting this morning, a vampire has reported that, a gang of seven werewolves terrorised a whole pack of vampires.'
'Impossible!' I snapped.
'Thats what we said, but apparantly the vampire looked really shaken up, claiming his whole coven was killed by one she-wolf. Apparantly she had some sort of powers, she threw everyone of them atleast 2 meters away before raising them all into the sky, breaking all their necks and burning them, he was terrified she was coming for him, he came to us werewolves to ask us to kill him. He wanted to die.' He finished.
'What a load of nonsense!' I told him as I ran into the woods, I shifted immediatly and just ran.
When I had done a lot of thinking I decided, that I could possibly lose my wife and daughter so I would pretend I cared for my failure of a daughter.
Calming down a little, my wolf inside me suddenly yelled, 'STOP!' So I did immediatly. I looked around and listened for a threat, without any luck, I shrugged it off and carried on.
But instantly felt like I was on another pack's territory, but thats impossible this is my land.
Brushing off that feeling I carried on.
Out of nowhere, a large black wolf jumped from the shadows closely followed by a honey coloured wolf.
Flanked by a chocolate coloured wolf, a grey wolf, a hazel brown wolf and pure white wolf and sandy coloured wolf. Damn! There was seven of them!
Beta John wasn't making up stories. These we real. And what was my fate.
