{Kurt}

When Kurt got out of the shower after his afternoon of work, he found Jon relaxing in their room, warm and present and so much fun in bed Kurt almost didn't want to put their clothes back on to get ready for an evening out. However, the siren call of all the gorgeous make-up palettes he'd been collecting won out in the end.

There was not enough room beside the bathroom sink for Kurt to lay out his tubes and compacts of foundation, blush, eye shadow, eye liner, plus contour brushes of every shape and size; they spilled onto the side of the massive tub as well. Jon perched on the counter, freshly showered and shaved, wearing his silky robe and yoga pants, watching Kurt sort through the trays of dozens of shades of pink and taupe and a rainbow of shimmery eye colours.

Finally, Kurt found the bottle he was looking for and handed it to Jon: "Spray this on your face first."

Jon obliged, closing his eyes and wrinkling his nose as he spritzed his face. The smell of rosemary and lavender filled the room and he smiled. "Yum. I love that smell."

"More more more," Kurt waved his fingers at him. "You should feel like you made out with a rain-forest."

Laughing, Jon sprayed on another round.

"Fortunately, you are as pinky-beige as I am," Kurt said, "So some of what I use is going to work for you." He paused, a tube of foundation and sponge in his hands. "You comfy and settled in darlin'? You're gonna be here for a while." He was already studying the lines of Jon's face and picturing where he would need to shade and highlight to create a new, softer shape.

Jon tucked his legs around Kurt's hips. "Mm-hm. Do all the things to me, Kurt." His lidded look was very suggestive and Kurt chuckled.

"I believe we covered most of that already," Kurt said. "Close your eyes darlin'."

Jon laughed as he obeyed, his face twitching while Kurt dabbed him with the sponge. "You were amaaaazing," he sang softly, one hand slipping around Kurt's waist. Jon giggled, his blushing cheeks disappearing under the smooth makeup, and Kurt's mouth quirked up at the sound. "I'm so sorry--I couldn't even hang on for sixty seconds."

"Oh, ninety seconds at least," Kurt said. He bit his lip. The memory of Jon going to pieces wrapped in his body earlier this afternoon made him warm from throat to tailbone. He was going to treasure Jon's first time forever--perfectly imperfect. He'd never seen Jon lose himself so completely in the pleasure of being with him. "You more than made up for it, love."

"What do people do to last longer?" Jon sounded perplexed. "I can't even."

"I have no idea," Kurt said. "Never been my strong suit either."

Jon opened his eyes a crack, smiling, the hazel colour of his irises very bright against the pale mask of base skin-tone Kurt had applied. "That makes me feel a little better," Jon said. He settled back, closing his eyes again while Kurt dusted him with setting powder. "I guess I just need more practice," Jon said thoughtfully. "You on my lap could be my new favourite thing."

"Worth the wait?" Kurt teased.

Jon's throat moved and his hand came up, touching Kurt's chest without saying a word. The answer was written all over his face as he met Kurt's eyes--a tender, exposed expression Kurt never saw him wear for anyone else.

Kurt's lips curled in a smile back. "Good. Me too, love." Humming under his breath, he picked out contour shades from another gorgeous new palette while Jon's legs hugged his hips. He felt warm and elastic, like there was all the time in the world and he was up for anything with Jon.

"Sad day for gays everywhere when Kurt Visser took down his shingle," Jon said lightly. "I'll bet there were 'top subs' shedding tears across the interwebs."
