"He's got no call being up in here. You don't know that fool for shit."
"He's right, Dom."
Leon agrees with the upset Vince.
"There was a time when I didn't know you."
"That was in the third grade!"
"Yeah. So, what girls are here?"
Dom tries to change the subject.
"You name it. You want mine? You want two?"
"You need to shut the..."
Letty rages in between.
"You don't have anything?"
"You look a bit tired. I think you should go upstairs and give me a massage."
"Look at all our guests."
"How about you give me a massage?"
Letty repeats and her boyfriend finally stands up.
"You were like a wild cat."
Dom grins in bed after the passionate sex.
"Hey, stop it!"
Letty laughs when Dom tickles her stomach.
"Don't do that again."
"What? I thought you like foreplay?"
"No, not that. I'm talking about the skanks at the races and what you said in the living room. I hate when you flirt with other girls."
"I wasn't serious. You know you're the only one for me, right?"
Dom looks deep into Letty's eyes and she replies with a devoted kiss.
"What about blondie...You trust him?"
She asks, with her head on Dom's chest.
"No. But he could be useful to us."
"We should still keep an eye on him."
"Yeah."
3 weeks later
To test whether Brian can be used for the next robberies, Dom takes him to today's Race Wars event.
"Yo! Head up, bro. We got problems."
Leon warns and points with his finger in the distance.
"What?"
"Jesse."
"Where's Jesse going?:
"He just raced Tran for slips."
"Oh, shit."
Dom curses as he and his friends see Johnny driving towards them.
"Where's he going?"
"He went to the car wash."
"Whatever. Go fetch my car."
"Go fetch your car? We're not on your block. You better watch who you talk to like that."
"Toretto! SWAT came into my house...Disrespected my whole family, because somebody narked me out. And you know what? It was you!"
Tran yells and gets punched by the furious Dom.
"I never narked on nobody! I never narked on nobody!"
After Tran and his guys were expelled by the Race Wars Security, Dom, Letty, Vince and Leon disappear into his trailer to talk in private.
"Fuck! What now?! We've been planning the robbery for weeks. We have to do it tonight."
Vince starts the conversation.
"Don't know, man. Jesse's gone and what about Tran? Punk could try to do shit. We should find Jesse first."
Leon suggests.
"I know...But Vince is right. We'll pull this off now, after that we'll take care of Jesse."
Dom announces and the 4 get out of the trailer.
"Mia, go home."
Dom asks as she walks up to him and the others.
"Where are you going? Are you looking for Jesse?"
"Later."
Vince replies to her.
"What do you mean later? Wait, you want to...? Are you insane?!"
"Mia, you don't understand."
"I have respected you and I haven't said shit. Now I'm asking you not to go."
"I'm doing this for both of us."
"Don't give me that crap. You're doing this for you...Why are you insisting on doing this?...Dom, please, just don't."
Mia urges but her anxious words can't stop her brother.
"Alright, we're one man short. Letty, I need you on the left side."
"Your sister's right about this one. This don't feel good."
Leon worries.
"Don't do that."
"Something's wrong."
Letty agrees with Leon.
"Stop."
"We shouldn't be doing this without Jesse."
She continues.
"This is the lode. We've been on this for three months. After this, it's a long
vacation for everyone...Listen, the other night I had a dream...that you and I were on the beach in Mexico.
"Really?"
"Really. Come on. Let's make this happen...Leon, keep on those scanners..Alright, let's go."
When they reach the truck and Vince is about to jump on the hood of it, Dom sees in his exterior mirror that the driver is holding a shotgun.
"Vince! Vince, don't! Get back in! Vince He's got a damn shotgun!..."
He warns his best friend. But his alarming words come too late and when Vince lands on the hood, he's shot at from the driver's cab.
Dom tries everything to save him, but no matter what he tries, it doesn't work.
"Dom! Move out of the way. I'm coming to get him."
Letty yells via walki- talki.
When trying to stop the trucker, he rams her off the road and her car rolls over several times.
"Leon! Pull back for Letty. Get her out of there!"
Dom commands.
"I'm on it! Go! I've got her! You get Vince off that truck."
When Leon arrives at the scene of the accident, he already fears the worst, but luckily Letty is well enough to free herself from the wreck. The two immediately flee from the scene of the accident.
Meanwhile, Dom is still trying to free Vince, who's stuck with his arm on the truck. But the stubborn trucker doesn't give him a chance and puts Dom's engine out of action with his weapon.
After Dom got out of his car, Leon arrives a few seconds later with the injured Letty in the backseat. He immediately gets into the vehicle and Leon accelerates to catch up with the truck.
But when Leon notices people in the field, he brakes and the two boys get out immediately.
"Vince!"
"Oh shit."
"It's gonna be okay, Letty. I love you."
Dom say before running to Vince on the field. He recognizes Brian and Mia on the floor with him and wonders why they are here.
"Yeah. Yeah, this is Officer Brian O'Conner.I'm off-duty MAPD. I need a life flight roll out right away..."
Dom can't believe what he just heard! Brian is a cop! He lied to him, tricked him and his friends! This betrayal feels like a punch in the stomach.
After Vince has been transported away by the rescue helicopter, it's clear to Dom that they have to leave.
"Mia! Come on!"
He calls his little sister, who's still in the field. When she finally gets in, Leon drives off immediately.
"Fuck! Vince could have died, man."
Leon curses behind the wheel.
"Letty?! Oh my god. Are you okay?"
Mia asks worried when she notices her injured best friend next to her.
"Yes."
"Mia, why did you come?"
Leon asks shortly afterwards.
"I had to...Brian wanted to stop you."
"What? Why? How did he know about it? I thought we wouldn't tell him anything till we-"
"He's a cop."
Dom interrupts him and punches the dashboard in anger.
"What?! Are you fucking serious?"
"We have to leave. Right away...Can you get Letty across the border?"
"Yeah, sure."
When the four arrive at the secret hiding place where their cars are, Dom and Mia say goodbye to Leon and Letty.
"I don't wanna go without you."
"I know...But Jesse needs my help. Please, you have to go."
Letty nods with tears in her eyes.
"I'm gonna find you."
He promises and gives Letty a kiss, before she gets into Leon's Nissan Skyline flee to Mexico...
