Dom can't believe Letty is standing in front of him after all these years. Both grin at each other and Toretto feels his heart suddenly beating much faster.

"It ain't that hard to track you down. All I gotta do is follow the odor of skanks."
"Letty. Life has a way changing those plans."
"Change of plans.
Letty repeats with a quick laugh and throws her bag at him.
"Where do we sleep?"
"Excuse me ladies."
He stands up and walks slowly towards her.
"That's right. All the way from Mexico, sucker."
Letty reminds him and he starts laughing before kissing her.
Seconds laters she wipes her hand over her mouth.
"I don't want to taste their saliva."
Dom responds with an even louder laugh and leads her out of the club.
"There is so much I've to tell you."
"Yes, you do."
Letty replies as the two get into his white Pontiac GTO Convertible.

The two talk about the past 4 years during the entire drive. They tell each other about the escape to Mexico and what happened to them there and afterwards.
Letty learns that Dom didn't have relationships, but had one night stands every now and then. And she tells him about Ricardo, whom she separated from after 5 months of relationship because she just couldn't love him.

Their conversation only comes to an end when Dom's car stops in front of his house. They enter the building and immediately let their feelings run wild...

When Letty wakes up the next morning, she's alone in his bed. Just as the mechanic is about to get up, the door to the room opens and Dom is standing there with a plate on his hands. In addition to a coffee cup and biscuits, she also recognizes a narrow vase - which is filled with a red rose.
"Good Morning."
"Mornin'. Oh, that's cute...Hey! you never did anything like that for me back then."
"I know..."
"Will there appear any more surprises from you?"
"Maybe...Wanna go to the beach?"
"Yeah."
"Okay, but first eat your breakfast."
He replies with a smile and gives her a kiss on the forehead.

On the way to the beach, Dom speaks to several locals in their native language, which impresses Letty.
"What? Who is this?
Did I just hear you speaking Dominican?"
It's been a while since I've been back in the States...You know that."
Dom replies and Letty understands the reference to Mia.
"You're missed. She's alright...So what's going on? I know you're not training these boys for nothing. Have I arrived just in time for a new adventure?"

"Letty you always get here just in time for something."
They kiss and Letty sits on his lap.
"I'll block you. You can't see. What are you gonna do? Oh my God, we're gonna crash.
Oh no. What's gonna happen?"
She jokes and cuddles with him.

When the couple arrives at the beach, they begin to enjoy their revived love undisturbed. The racers swim, laugh and caress each other for hours.

"You feel that? How could you be 3,000 miles away from that?"
"Can't."
Dom admits and the two kiss, lying on his surfboard...

Some months later

Letty and Dom not only continue their relationship in the Dominican Republic - but also the robberies. However unlike in L.A., these are not about their own enrichment, but about supporting the population in the poor neighborhoods.
Gas has very high value here and only a few can afford it. Every captured truck load is resold by Dom to Elvis. The corrupt politician then supplies the slums with it at a cheaper price.

Although Dom doesn't have a proper garage here, he still repairs other cars in the neighborhood. And when an elderly gentleman handed him his rusted '69 Ford Fairlane for a ridiculously low price of $500 a few weeks ago, he and Letty intensively took care of the repairs and upgrades.

As so often, the couple dedicates today to the old muscle car.
"Alright, done."
"How about a test drive?"
Dom asks his girlfriend when Letty closes the hood.
"Give me a minute."

After Letty has freshened up in the bathroom, she sits down next to Dom in the passenger seat.
"Where are we riding to?"
"You'll see."
Dom drives through the whole city until he finally reaches his destination. When he arrives at the Las Americas race track, they can already see the beautiful sunset on the horizon.
He parks so that the two have a perfect view of the sea.

"What are we doing here, Dom?"
"I wanna ask you something."
He replies with a smile.
"Okay, but you really don't have to drive across town to for that."
Letty says as the two of them get out and stand in front of the car.
"Wanna marry me?"
"What? Yeah!"
"Really?"
"Of course. I love you, Dom."
"I love you too."
Dom and Letty kiss for a few seconds before the two return home.
"I never thought I would ever get married...Did you  planned anything?"
"No. What do you want?"
"I'm not that into big parties and all that stuff...Just you and me..."
"You and me. Sounds perfect."

Later, when the two cuddle up in bed, they continue the conversation.
"I know a little chapel, not far from here."
"Really?"
"Mhmm."
"We shouldn't wait so long."
Letty asks, with her head on his chest.
"Yeah."
"I'm free tomorrow."
Dom laughs and kisses her.
"I love you."
"I love you too."

The next noon Letty drives off with Sofia to get a wedding dress. Letty is very grateful for her support, as she has never put on a dress before and so has absolutely no idea about this stuff.

It takes about 3 hours them to find what they are looking for. When they return home  Sofia is doing Letty's make up and hair before she leaves the house, where Dom is already waiting outside in front of his car.

"You're so beautiful."
Dom is amazed when he opens the passenger door for her.
"Thank you."
She replies with a big smile and gets into the vehicle.

"Something wrong? You look so nervous."
"Nah, it's just...I've never seen you in a dress before."
"True."
She laughs and Dom kisses her hand behind the wheel.

The Toretto was right: it really doesn't take long to get to the chapel. When Dom stops in front of the building, the two can see the pastor waiting at the entrance.
The clergyman comes to meet them and leads the couple into the house of God.

"Do you have the ring?"
The pastor asks at the altar.
Dom thinks for a moment and takes off his silver cross chain.
"Will this do?"
The pastor accepts his suggestion and continues.

"We have eternity
in this moment."
"You will never be alone again.
I vow wherever you go, I go. You ride, I ride. You fight, I fight. And if you ever die on me,
Dominic Toretto,
I'm gonna die with you."
"I love you, Letty.
I will always love you."
