Benji and I were fooling and joking around with each other
Laughing
Smiling
And having a good time
"OH MY GOSH, VICTOR STOP!" Benji exclaimed as I tickled his sides "nope never" I laughed and continued
"Okay actually stop. I'm gonna pee on myself!" Benji laughed and I stopped because I was not about to have Benji pee himself on my bed...
"I was just joking I don't have to pee. I just wanted you to stop" he giggled sitting up
I went to put my arm around him but when I lifted my arm he flinched a threw his hands up to protect his face from whatever he thought I was gonna do to him...
I quickly put my arm down not really knowing what to do...
"Are- are you alright, Benji?" I asked and he nodded "I-i-im so sorry...I didn't mean to do that." He sighed "has someone been hitting you?" I questioned desperately wanting answers As to who is or was abusing my boyfriend "it's nothing, victor. Don't worry about it" he shook his head before moving closer to me
"Benji, I kinda have to worry. I would never hurt you. I love you. I just want to know why you flinched so harshly when I went to put my arm around you" he took a deep breath before talking"well...when Derek and I were together, every time he would get upset at something, even if it was something small, he would take everything he was feeling out on me. Sometimes it was verbal and someone it was physical. When it was physical he would hit me so hard to the point that I lost consciousness once..he would scream at me over the phone until I was in tears wondering what I did wrong and why he was always yelling and hitting me. It was just terrible, victor and I never want to experience something like that again. And I know you're so much better than Derek and I shouldn't have got scared and flinched." Benji said
"Benji... Derek didn't deserve such an amazing, handsome, boy like you...you deserve so much better than what he gave you and I promise you, baby, I will never hurt you or lay a hand on you like that ever..." I told him and he rushed over to me to give me a hug "thank you, Victor. I needed that" he mumbled nuzzling his face into my neck
The rest of that night was spent cuddling, watching movies, and sleeping
