"Victor, please. You need to start telling people what happened between us. People are making up rumors about me and how I cheated on you" Mia begged. I really wasn't ready to come out to everyone yet "Mia, I'm really sorry...I'm trying, I really am. I'm trying to feel comfortable enough to come out." I said and she sighed "okay..whatever, victor, clearly you don't care about my feelings in this situation" she said

"No, I do care about your feelings...you don't understand how hard it is to come out as gay to everybody. I'm not ready yet. how about I just tell everyone that we just realized we weren't right for each other" I tried to reason with her "no! if you don't tell everyone by the end of the day tomorrow, I'll do it myself." She said before storming off.

 I wasn't ready for everyone to know about me being gay yet. But I guess if I don't do this, I'm gonna be outed...by my ex-girlfriend, who has no clue what it's like to be in the situation I am in.

I sat down on the steps to the school waiting for Benji to come out so we could walk to work together

As I waited I decided to type out my statement about me and Mia on creek secrets

"Hey everyone, Victor Salazar here! So as most people know, Mia and I broke up a few months ago. She didn't cheat on me or anything like that, basically, all that happened was that we realized we just weren't right for each other. I'm clearing this up so you all can stop harassing her now about her cheating. -Love, victor"

I typed out before posting it.

5 minutes later I heard footsteps approaching me from behind

"Hey, babe" I look up and saw Benji smiling at me "you ready to go" I nodded and stood up

We walked Into Brasstown and went into the back room to put our stuff away and put our aprons on.

"um, I just so happened to be on creek secrets when you had posted your little comment about you and Mia. What's up with that?" Benji asked taking his jacket off "oh, um, I just wanted to clear the air because people have been making up some pretty nasty rumors about her" I responded "are you sure that's the real reason?" I looked at him "y-yeah..yeah. What other reason would there be" I asked and he shrugged "I don't know, but your stuttering, which is something you do when you're nervous. What's really going on?" I sighed "We'll talk after work" I kissed his forehead before walking out to the front counter
