Over the past few days, I've noticed victor has been really tired and stressed out. He has been falling behind on his homework because of the big basketball game coming up that he has to practice for...
He has had to wake up early to get to practice at like 6 am then after school from 3-5.
And on top of that. He has multiple pages of homework for all his classes at school to complete.
Overall, he's been pretty overworked
So, as his boyfriend, I'm gonna give him a little break to breathe for an hour or two.
I decided that I was gonna wrote him a little letter
Dear victor,
I've noticed that you've got a lot on your plate recently. Between basketball practice before and after school and doing all this school work. It's a lot and I can just see it in your face that you're extremely tired. Just remember that you need to take breaks at times. Do drink some water, eat some food, and take care of yourself, alright? Also, please let me know if there's anything I can help you with. I don't want you to overwork yourself.

After I finished writing it I put it in a little envelope and went downstairs to the kitchen.
I opened the fridge and grabbed the chocolate and strawberries and put them on the counter
I put the chocolate in a bowl and into the microwave to melt
I then took the strawberries out and put those into a bowl as well.
After I took the chocolate out of the microwave I dipped the strawberries into them before putting the into the fridge again
I ran back up to my room and took out my phone to Victor
"Hello?" He said into the phone "hey, baby" I smiled "hi Benji. What's up" he asked "nothing I'm just bored. Can I come over?" I asked "Benji, As much as I would love to hang out with you right now. I can't. I have too much work to do." Just the answer I was looking for. "Oh okay..let me know if you need help, alright?" I told him "yep. I will, thanks" he replied
After we said our goodbyes and hung up
I grabbed my bag with all my school books and the letter and went back downstairs to put the strawberries into a little container
"Mom, I'm going to victors house" I said "okay, bye I love you" she smiled at me "I love you too" I smiled back before walking out of the house the house

I walked up to the front door of victors apartment and took a deep breath before knocking
"Hey...Benji" Isabel said looking me up and down in a semi-disgusted way
I don't know why she still doesn't like me
I'm not that bad, am I?
I mean I may be gay, but like...that shouldn't matter, right?
"Hey, Mrs. Salazar" I smiled "why are you here?" she asked, annoyance laced in her tone "I came here to help victor out with his homework and studying. He has so much to make up because of basketball practice and I don't want him to overwork himself"
"You can come in, Victors in his room. But you better be studying. Nothing else, Benji" she doesn't trust me, but that's beside the point.
I walked towards victors room and opened the door to see him with his head in his hands with paper sitting in front of him
"Victor?" I said placing the stuff in his bed "babe are you alright?" I said rubbing his back gently "hey Benji" he said turning around and I could see that he's been crying
"I'm sorry. I just have so mu-" I stopped him "come here" I said and he stood up
I wrapped my arms around him, pulling him in for a hug "you need a break" I said into his shoulder "I know but I can't" I pulled away from him
"Come on, victor. I brought some chocolate covered strawberries, you know..your favorite. You can eat them and we can watch a movie for a bit." He sighed and looked at his homework. "Benji-" I interrupted him "please victor" I begged and he finally gave in
— After the movie
"Thank you for that, Benji. But now I have to finish this homework and I can't have any distractions." He said sitting back down at his desk "are you trying to get rid of me" I said "no, no, no. I would never. I just need to get this done by tomorrow." He told me "okay. So let's do it together. I can help you out if you need it..." he let out a sigh of relief "what would I do without you, baby" he hugged me before I sat down with him and we started working on his assignments...
