Another truth, Nothing surprises me
Five days had passed since I arrived at this training camp. At first, it feels so hard to follow their training menu, but on the third day, everything becomes easier. I got used to that. My goal is not to only pass this camp, but actually be the best. For him.
I saw many talented people here. There are some whmo I've heard of before, but many more are as talented. While most of them are Alphas, I met several Betas who are just as strong. I befriended some of them. They all come to gain experience, knowledge, and power. With all of our own reasons, we gathered here.
The training for today has ended. Now, I'm sitting in my room, waiting for dinner.
I looked for my phone. This is the only private time I could use to send Ren some messages. I saw Ren's reply that I haven't read. Opening it up, I read his message. Our conversations are random, but it helps me pass each day. Motivating me to do more."Dinner time!"
I hear a loud announcement, followed by many steps of people walking in the corridors.I put the phone on my desk, leaving it in a dry area for a little more. Then, I left the room.

It's been a week since the last message I received from Daniel. He usually sent me a message at the end of the day, but since last week, it all suddenly went silent. Besides, he was supposed to return this week.
He told me not to worry. Maybe the schedule changed and he can't come back now, but it's not like I could completely ignore it all, right?
I gave a long exhale."Ren! Come back to us!" Lucas' call snapped me back.
"Ah sorry guys," I said, putting my phone back to the table, continued to eat my food. We were in a small cafe in the downtown area after school hours. Doing the homework and just hanging around. Mostly just hanging around, the homeworks was finished."Why are you so distracted these days?" Bea asked.
"Stuffs," I shrugged.
"You seem different ever since we returned. What happened on the winter break? You haven't told us the thing that you want to tell us before," Lucas asked, worried.I sipped my drink. I haven't told them about Daniel. At first, I just wanted to immediately make them meet each other. But, after his last message...
"You know you are both my best friends, right?" I started. They both nodded. "I need to tell you something." They both become attentive. Sitting straight, slightly leaning forward. "I'm seeing someone."They didn't immediately respond. Looking at each other, unsure.
"Who?" Lucas asked. "Is it the girl from the chemistry class?" Beatrix guessed. Before, I had a crush on one of my classmates. "Really? Wow, you've been crushing on her since last summer. How did it happen? So fast," Lucas commented.
I shook my head. "No, it's not her."
They looked even more confused. "So... who?" Lucas asked again.I was hesitant. I know I should have told them sooner. The more I prolonged these, the harder it was to tell them. "You remember Rey's last match," I started slowly. Still with their confused look, they nodded. "He was the captain of the opposing team. The blond hair one."
Upon my confession, both of their eyes widen so wide that it looks like it would pop out of their eye socket. "Ren, you can't," Bea spoke up.
My eyebrow twitched, didn't expect her immediate disapproval. This is the first time Bea openly disagrees with me. "Because he's a man?" I asked. There's no reason for them to oppose someone they haven't even met.
"No, not like that," Lucas excessively shook his head. "Hell, I'll bang you if I knew you were gay before," he bluntly added. Okay, that's weird.
