We all boarded the quinjet, and took straight off heading back to the Helicarrier. Tony and Steve stood further up in the quinjet near the cockpit. I stood a few inches down, across from the handcuffed Loki, staring straight at me. As if he was fascinated by what he was seeing. I had a gut feeling that he was trying to give me the cold stare, hoping I would quiver in fright of him and turn my gaze somewhere else. However, I did not crack under the pressure of his gaze. My arms were folded over my golden chest plated, not giving him the satisfaction that he wanted from me. My eyes narrowed into slits just watching him with my silent judgement running through my mind - which I should really voice, I wasn't a silent woman after all.
"Fascinating, am I not?" He voiced. I expected nothing less than him being a vain person, but bringing it up at this moment in time. He was an odd one...
"This guy packs a wallop," Steve's voice echoed in my ears, though he was trying to act coy and face away from Loki to talk about him.
"Still, you are pretty spry for an older fellow," Tony remarked, no longer muffled by the helmet he wears. "What's your thing, Pilates?" Tony joked with Steve, pushing his buttons.
"What?" Steve asked dumbfounded what Stark was on about.
"It's like calisthenics. You might have missed a couple of things. You know, doing time as a Capsicle," I finally heard enough coming out of Tony's mouth, making me turn my body to the two men - who were staring off at one another.
"If you both are quite finished," I pointed out, my voice emitting that authority tone. Both of their heads snapped to me, eyes locking but my focus was on Mister Stark.
"Fury didn't tell us he was calling you in," Steve recalled, knowing that Fury was holding back secrets from us all.
"Yeah, there's a lot of things Fury doesn't tell you," Stark expressed, his eyes seemed to glance over to me - as if I was the thing Fury didn't tell them about. Suddenly, thunder rumbles through the sky, alerting us all that something wasn't right.
"Where's this coming from?" Natasha questioned the sudden appearance of thunder, and the lightning that struck around us. It wasn't me who was causing this. The jet shook for a moment, the thunder lowered its volume.
"What's the matter? Scared of a little lightning?" Steve hummed in amusement, but he did not let it show.
"I'm not overly fond of what follows," Loki replied, looking up through his lashes to the top of the Quinjet. I had a deep gut feeling that someone was coming for Loki. As if on cue, the jet judders as something lands on-top. The lightning and thunder still rang outside. Stark places his helmet on, as Steve shot to the right and began to put his on. The rear hatch opened as Tony was the one that pressed the panel to open the hatch - which was stupid in my opinion
"What are you doing?" Steve questioned Tony's method of opening the hatch - at least I wasn't alone in that. Out of nowhere, a brute of a man landed on the extended rear hatch, his red cap flapping in the wind, as he held a hammer tightly in his grip. The man walked to Tony as he was going to blast him out of the jet, but before he could, the man recoiled his hammer and hit Tony square in the chest of the armour. Sending him flying backwards, and oncoming to Steve and I. With my fast reflexes, I shot up my index and middle finger, as if I was firing a gun upwards. Quick as it could, green smoke rushed up my body, engulfing me, allowing me to disappear before getting hit by Tony and Steve. I reformed a second later, a few inches across from them - to see the smoke cover them only for a brief moment as it faded into the air. My eyes were on the God of Thunder flying away with Loki in his grasp...
