As time passed, I fought against a handful of Chitauri. Making my way back to the bridge where I started. Along the way, I protected the people of New York, telling them to get out of here and to safety - which they listened to. On the bridge, were also Thor and Cap, fighting multiple Chitauri at once, and they both threw their weapons at two seperate Chitauri. Which hit them, and their weapons came back to them. They were both impressive fighters.

However, Steve took a cheap shot from one of the multiple Chitauri coming their way, which ended up him going to the ground. I didn't waste any time, and sped at an inhuman speed towards the Chitauri. Once close enough, I began to slice, and weave my way through the multiple Chitauri. They didn't know what hit them. But Thor also blocked oncoming blasts with his hammer, before using his own strength to hit a car, making it flip and be launched to the Chitauri. I noticed the oncoming vehicle, and I was currently deep in the chest of a Chitauri. I ripped the sword free, while using the alien as a push off, and forced myself back, and flipping over the car. I saw the sky, clear as day, but Chitauri was riding around the city.

I brought my knees up to my chest, and rolled back in mid-air, descending back to the ground swiftly. I landed perfectly on the road, my feet planted firmly on the ground, and my balance was on point. I turned on the spot to see Thor helping Steve stand to his feet.

"Are you ready for another bout?" Thor asked, eyeing up Cap for a moment. I also noticed that Steve was holding right hand onto the wound that appeared from the blast. He took a few deep breaths, before turning his head.

"What, are you getting sleepy?" Steve remarks, making me shake my head as he could joke at a time like this.

"Are you all right?," I announced, walking towards them both, as they cast their gazes upon me, but my eyes were just on Steve.

"Sore," he admits, but my eyes fell to the wound. It wasn't bleeding much nor deep. I raised my left hand, and waved my index and middle finger out towards the wound. Green energy leapt from my fingertips and onto his wound. The energy weaved in and out of his skin, as if a needle and thread was being pulled through.

"That should keep you going," I offered a smile, lowering my hand back to my side as the magical energy did it's job, and dispersed. "I'm ready for another bout," I swirled my sword around, and threw my right hand diagonally, showing them that I was ready for whatever was coming.

"I can close it. Can anybody copy? I can shut the portal down," Natasha's voice came over the ear piece, alerting us that she could end this, and stop those creatures from coming.

"Do it!" Steve was thrilled that they could win this battle.

"No, wait," Tony interrupted.

"Stark, these things are still coming," Steve replies, as he cast his head up to meet the portal.

"I got a nuke coming in. It's gonna blow in less than a minute," Tony explained, making me close my eyes for a moment. I know humanity thinks killing thousands of people in one part of a city is acceptable because it saves the lives of billions. Then again, it wasn't right scarfising these people. If Earth was not protected by me or the Avengers, then the world would be doomed.
