Peggy led a wonderful, successful life with Kira by her side, and she was with her every step of the way. She always wanted to 'age' with her friends, and she decided to do so. Kira placed a powerful illusion spell on herself, allowing everyone to perceive her to age among them. When decades past, she would see herself in the mirror, her own reflection unknown to her due to the wrinkles and the grey hair forming. This was going to be the most normal she will ever be.

Kira sat in a chair, her leg crossed over the other, staring at an elderly woman who was laying in bed. Kira was in Washington, D.C. The retirement home she was visiting was well kept and amazing at keeping their patients happy.

"Kira," an old croaky voice alerted Kira, making her raise her head up to see old eyes staring at her.

"Hey, Peggy," Kira leans forward and clutches the old woman's hand offering a warm smile. "How have you been?" Kira spoke with such care, as if Peggy was fragile. Kira knew that Peggy had Alzheimer's disease, she knew everything. She also knew she was lucid enough to remember her presently.

"You know me. A fighter," she jokes, cracking a smile on her face. Kira couldn't help but laugh softly, finding her will strong.

"That I do know," Kira replied, rubbing her thumb over the back of Peggy's hand. "It's been a few months since I've come to see you," Kira felt guilty about not coming sooner but she's been spending time with Steve, getting him familiar with the new world he's in.

"It's all right, Kira. I don't expect a visit every week," Peggy replies, staring deep into Kira's eyes. They've been through so much together and bonded like sisters.

"I'm in it for the long haul, you know that," Peggy couldn't help but chuckle slightly at her remark, knowing the truth about Kira. She was struggling to tell Peggy that Steve was alive even after all these years.

"You have something on your mind," it was more of a statement than a question. "I know the look," Peggy - even in her old age she knew something was on her best friend's mind.

"Recently, there has been an alien invasion in New York. I fought alongside six amazing people. And one of those people was Steve," as his name let her lips, Peggy's eyes widened in shock. "He's alive Peggy. He was found in ice sixty-six years later," Kira could see in her eyes that she was overjoyed.

"Steve... Steve's alive," Peggy squeezed Kira's hand as tight as she could in this fragile state. "Show me," her eyes pleaded with Kira, wanting to see him even after this long.

Kira couldn't deny her request, after this long she deserved to see him. Even if it's an illusion. With Kira's left hand she flicked her index and middle finger up. Green energy wrapped around her finger tips for a moment and at that moment, a green swirl of energy went around a circle at the foot of her bed. It started with his head and swirled down, widening to shape out his figure. Within seconds Steve was fully complete, and standing in a single straight pose. He was wearing his Captain America outfit that he fought in.
