It felt like hours had passed but it wasn't the fact. I handled a handful of Chitauri at a time, Steve, Nat, and Clint all held their own in the fight. I was more out there with Steve, cutting them down into small pieces. I sliced my sword through the air, and sliced the current Chitauri I was battling in half, allowing both halves to fall to the ground. I didn't break a sweat, as I found killing these aliens was a work out, and I could do this all day.

We were alright for now, as I headed back up the bridge, seeing Steve and the rest crouching behind a taxi. I arrived at the position, crouching to the level of the rest of them. My eyes glanced between them all.

"We've got civilians still trapped up here," Clint announces, knowing that the bridge wasn't clear, that people were still on. Suddenly, a ton of Chitauri chariots came rushing past, firing down below, allowing explosions to ignite. But the main chariot that was leading had Loki in the driver's seat.

"Loki," Steve states, looking over the taxi to see him firing on innocent people below. He was causing destruction and chaos wherever he goes, and it's going to get more people killed. "They're fish in a barrel down there," Steve states, it was in his nature to help these people. He did it back in forty-five, there's no difference besides another monster to defeat. A whirring sound pierced my ears, and I knew it was a blast from one of the Chitauri's weapons. I reacted instinctively. I reached for Steve's left shoulder and yanked him back and down, just a split-second before the blast hits him. But instead it smashes the taxi window. Natasha stands up and uses her pistol to shoot at the Chitauri.

"Thanks," Steve's voice was low, and the word lingered on his tongue, because I knew he meant it. I nodded to him, accepting his gratefulness.

"We got this. It's good. Go," Nat spoke from the left of Cap, as she was back to crouching. But Steve's eyes shot over to Barton who was kneeling at another taxi cab, looking over the Chitauri further down the bridge.

"Do you think you can hold them off?" Cap asks, making Clint turn his head around to be met with Steve's eyes.

"Captain," Clint began before pressing a button on his bow that changed the arrow head in his quiver. "It would be my genuine pleasure," he was confident in his skill. He drew an arrow, and stood, drawing the bow back and only taking a second to aim, before his fingers released from the string, and the arrow zoomed through the air. Hitting the Chitauri in the head, before bursting out a few bullets into a half-circle, hitting two others.

"Be a hero," I state to Steve with a smile, before he dashes off to the side, and jumps over the bridge. I peered above the taxi, seeing that Steve was being fired at, but he kept on running on top of that bus. He leaps off the end, but the car in front was fired at, causing the explosion to ripple under it, which sent the car into the air. However, Steve used that to his advantage, and connected his feet to the roof, and pushed forward, and flipped in the air, and landed onto his feet, and went into a sprint towards the people.
