The bickering went straight through me, and I was ready to pop as they weren't focusing on the matter at hand - Loki. He was clearly behind all of this, he was pulling the strings even from his cell.

"You speak of control, yet you court chaos," Thor went straight into it, not even giving me a chance to speak, this was their doing.

"That's his M.O., isn't it?" Banner joined in once again. "I mean, what are we, a team? No, no, no, we're a chemical mixture that makes chaos. We're - we're a time bomb," Bruce wasn't holding back, because his was voicing his opinions on that matter of this team.

"You need to step away," Fury was cold in his response, taking a few steps closer to Banner - using the scare tactic he does.

"Why shouldn't the guy let off a little bit of steam?" Tony replies, extending his left arm out and placing it on Cap's shoulder.

"You know damn well why," Steve whacked Tony's hand off of his shoulder. "Back off!" The tension in the room was rising.

"I'm starting to want you to make me," Tony was acting tough, he was trying to crawl under Steve's skin. Annoy him, and pick a fight.

"Yeah. Big man in a suit of armor," Cap began, walking in front of Tony, but his eyes never left his. "Take that off, what are you?"

"Genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist," the words rolled off his lips with ease, as he was speaking the truth. But I could see out of the corner of my eye, Natasha, raise an eyebrow up - agreeing with Tony's words.

"I know guys with none of that worth ten of you," Steve bit back. "I've seen the footage. The only thing you really fight for is yourself. You're not the guy to make the sacrifice play, to lay down on a wire and let the other guy crawl over you," Steve wasn't holding back, but I could see this going multiple ways, and none were good.

"I think I would just cut the wire," Tony offered a solution to this hypothetical scenario Steve had made up.

"Always a way out," I could see that Steve was smiling as if he knew that Tony's answer would be a solution of a way out. "You may not be a threat, but you better stop pretending to be a hero," a low blow to Tony.

"A hero? Like you? You're a laboratory experiment, Rogers. Everything special about you came out of a bottle," with the saying of the last word, Tony took a step closer, making their faces inches away from one another. Fists were going to be thrown if I didn't step in and try to calm the situation.

"Get some self-control you guys," I finally spoke up since the arrival of everyone, making everyone in the room come to a halt in their conversations, and turn their gazes to me. "Loki is manipulating you all. Please focus on the task at hand," I was the only reasonable person in the room at this moment.

"Says the woman who's dressed up as if she's going to a Halloween party," Stark remarked, eyeing up the armour I was wearing, mocking what he clearly didn't understand.
